My only complaint about Rover is the pressure to pay right after we decide on a sitter - even if it is months in advance. There is no reason that we cannot confirm the visit and pay later. Please curb the pushiness and pressure to pay immediately. Otherwise, Rover has been great. We like the options of different sitters, and we like the system for communication that you have in place.

I appreciated many things about this service. This was our first time using it. I loved the daily updates with photos and sometimes videos showing how our two cats were doing. The person who visited them each day did pretty much everything I asked of her and even went above the call of duty in mopping up with enzymatic cleaner when our elderly cat peed outside her litter box, which she sometimes does these days. The cost was a little high, but I didn’t have other viable options and the service was really solid.

Plus:Easy to set up and search sitters. Minus:Impossible to give credit to person who referred me. I even called, and they couldn't help me.

I love using the app and the boarders that I’ve had have been great. My only suggestion is when I try to enter some changes as far as care instructions for my dog I put the changes, but for some reason, the app did not save the changes and the boarder did not know about the food instructions that I had put in the app. Please make it more obvious of changes of care and possibly give the boarder notification that something had changed. Thank you.

Good to be able to meet the caregiver before. Communication with her was fine - and my cat was safe and happy.

My baby was taken care of while I had surgery. I don’t know if he was really thrilled cause he didn’t seem like himself for a minute when he came back home, but I know that the previous sitter that we had he absolutely love being there and when he came back, he went to go back to them and go play so I don’t know what happened with this experience but my baby is a very picky little person and this was an emergency and original sitters. Couldn’t pick it up for me.
