Be very sure your sitter understands and can comply with your instructions for your pets care. Make sure they’re reputable and do not cut corners.
My experience this time was stressful and worrisome and took much away from my vacation with my sick sister.

Lousy customer service
Lousy customer service. Been using the company for years but it’s been getting worse. They now charged me for something I never ordered and are trying to gaslight me into thinking it’s my problem. You can’t actually get ahold of any customer service who will help you if something goes wrong.

I’m happy with my dog walkers but…
I’m happy with my dog walkers but unhappy with the app, it’s not user friendly when it comes to modifying or canceling services. I did NOT sign up for recurring services yet that’s what happened. It left me stressed and disappointed with Rover

App and website are horrible.
I've had positive experience with the sitters, but I detest the app and the website.

Quella di Rover è una bella idea
Quella di Rover è una bella idea. Mettere in contatto coloro che hanno bisogno di un aiuto per gestire il loro amico a quattro zampe con chi è disponibile a prendersene cura. Geolocalizzare le offerte è comodissimo. Tuttavia la concorrenza, in termini di varietà di prezzi, è bassa (almeno nella mia zona) e salvo eccezioni, tendono ad essere troppo similmente spostati verso l'alto. Si forma una specie di "Cartello" dei prezzi che mi ha scoraggiato. Tanto vale andare alla vecchia col passaparola o affidarsi a chi è un professionista che deve affrontare costi di gestione per strutture fisse e sottoposte a controlli. Molti fra quelli che si offrono, sono certo appassionati amanti dei cani o dei gatti, ma nella vita svolgono attività che nulla hanno a vedere con chi di professione si occupa di animali da compagnia, tuttavia si propongono con tariffe molto elevate. Posso comunque affermare che sono stata molto soddisfatta dalla mia unica esperienza con Rover.

Unreliable sitters no real resolve from customer support
Unreliable sitters, no consequences for when they accept jobs but don't show up or accept bookings that they know they can't actually commit to. Customers have to put in extremely too much effort and work to try to get a resolution. Happened with all three sitters I Tried to book back to back.

Unresponsive sitter, lack of communication :/
The sitter was not responsive and that made me stressed and anxious. I couldn't get a hold of her for 48 hours. No updates, no photos and a total lack of communication. Apparently the sitter's boyfriend broke up with her while our dog was in her care. I find it really hard to trust people with my baby girl and haven't had the best experiences with the sitters on Rover.
