I have been loyal to Rover for years
I have been loyal to Rover for years. I've made them THOUSANDS of dollars. Their Rover guarantee is a scam. What they don't tell you is that they don't really cover anything..my dog came home from a stay severely ill. Vomiting and leaking diarrhea all over himself. I had to take him to the doggy ER..I was told by both vets that he ate something he wasn't supposed and he had food that he wasn't supposed to have in his tummy. Rover acted nice, strung me along as though they were going to cover my bills. She literally told me on the phone that I was covered and not to worry about anything.. Then they denied my claim and went MIA. They won't explain denied claim. They won't respond to emails and they won't return phone calls. The sitter was nasty and rude. Horrible. And NO REPURCUSSIONS. I will be seeking legal counsel against Rover and my sitter and reporting to local authorities because he is operating illegally..they do not vet sitters and they do not enforce policies that coincide with local laws. My dog should not have had to suffer like that.
