The Rover.com petsitter flaked on me at the last minute, saying she had personal training, so she could not come. I had it booked for weeks, did a meet and greet and everything. My roommate had to take off of a day of work just so I could leave town. She cost us a lot of money, and is extremely irresponsible. Rover.com won't even let me review her. This company is a joke. Do your research people. I didn't and what a mistake. Now I'm afraid to use anyone.

Absolutely terrible.. Never going there again.. One sitter named Sarah is a living nightmare

My dog was gravely injured by a Rover independent contractor who denied it either ignorantly or maliciously. I asked her to report it to Rover for vet reimbursement and she declined. I then made a claim to Rover for reimbursement for $400 in medical bills, and was denied. Using that service to care for your dogs is akin to internet dating. Don't take the risk.

I've tried to make a home visit with Cami in crescent city CA. She has canceled 3 times. Every time it's a dumb excuse. This certainly doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in having her watch my babies

Our 11 year old Great Pyrenees had her tail “nicked” with scissors by a Rover sitter while she was trying to get something out of it. Turns out the “nick” severed the tip of her tail. Subsequently she had to have her tail amputated this past week as a result of the injury. Rover did not offer to refund the cost of the sitter. They responded that I would need to reach out to the sitter directly and ask her for a refund...Why on earth would they make me reach back out to the sitter who injured our dog? It’s been a month and the sitter hasn’t once checked in to see how our dog is doing. Terrible customer service by Rover. Our young daughters are emotionally affected by the fact that their beloved dog had to have her tail removed. Rover doesn’t seem to care one bit

Rover is a scam. I had someone within their system hack my acct and reply to a walker I had lined up. It was one of their people. I would not use it

Contacted 4 different people that showed they had flexible schedules and they all turned me down for one reason or another. Needed someone flexible due to working in a restaurant. Can’t select more that one visit or two visits a day. What a joke.

My dog was poisoned while being sitted by Roseli L in Delray Beach, Zip 33484, and died 18 hours later. He was perfectly healthy when we dropped him off. She didn't even contact Rover Vet services which I paid an extra $2 per day for. My dog lost 2 lbs during a 7 day stay. We brought him to the vet immediately and he had a 103 degree fever. She had my vet's information and I told her that my vet would bill me for any services if needed. She didn't even contact me by phone or text to tell me my dog was not eating. She told me when I picked him up noticing his ribs were showing. Rover.com was of no help eaither. My complaint was a big waste of time. Roseli had watched our dogs three times before, and did OK. However it only takes one time to hurt or kill your beloved pet. We put our trust in Roseli L and Rover as a result,we sufferd one of the greatest tragedies of our lives. I would not recommend Roseli, L or Rover.com. She didn’t even give me a hint of anything that happened. She did not call or text us as she did before. If we knew what happened, we still would have had a short time to save our dog. Roseli L lives in a questionable area of Delray Beach. It seems ok, but it is a somewhat disorganized enviornment. And there is a strong possibility that there may be poisonous snakes, reptiles and insects in her back yard. So please do not take the change of leaving your Pet with her.
