Absolute sham of an organisation. Staff are incompetent and rude, to set up an account they dont state clearly what the problem is and overall a very bad experience. I will not use this company again EVER

Awful app
Terrible app that does not take complaints seriously. Someone broke into my home with a dog sitter without my consent and they have done nothing about it. Taking it further now.

One of my pets needed medical care for an incident not related to the sitter.
She did however not full waterbowls Nd allowed litter boxes to get so bad there was poop on the floor
What upsets me is rover can see our conversations back and forth where I never blame her for the medical incident. I didn't ask her for a refund. Her review of me indicates I am blaming her for the incident and coming after her. Rover will do nothing to assist me.

First and last time using Rover
There should be stricter protocol in place for a sitter damaging property.

I will never use Rover again.
I will never use Rover again.
My dog was healthy when I dropped him off for a three-day stay. When I picked him up, I immediately noticed he wasn’t acting like himself, and he smelled so strongly that I gave him a bath as soon as we got home. During the bath, I found blood on his face. After contacting the sitter, I was told there had been an incident involving broken glass and blood in the home that had never been disclosed during the stay or at pickup.
Within hours of coming home, my dog developed vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and later bloody stool. The next day, he required emergency veterinary treatment, resulting in $1,819.56 in veterinary bills.
I submitted a Rover Guarantee claim with my emergency veterinary records, invoices, photos, and a detailed timeline. Rover denied the claim because the illness was considered an “undetermined cause” gastrointestinal condition under its Guarantee terms, even though the symptoms began immediately after the boarding stay.
My biggest disappointment is that the Rover Guarantee did not provide the protection I believed it would when my dog became seriously ill after a booking. If gastrointestinal illnesses, which can be among the most common reasons pets need emergency care after boarding, are excluded when the exact cause cannot be determined, I think many pet owners may have very different expectations of what the Guarantee actually covers.
Rover refunded the cost of the stay, which I appreciate, but I was still left with over $1,800 in emergency veterinary expenses. Based on my experience, I will not use Rover again.

A company that really is invisible
A company that really is invisible
I paid money to join because I love animals but I never had any bookings.it seems you have to get your own clients and then direct them to the app, which I find ridiculous.l can open my own company and do that.useless and definitely over rated
I wouldn't recommend them at all .
