Would like to be informed of the case status as police report is filed and I have sent my incident review…no follow up. Status?????

I have searched using the qualifier of takes one dog at a time. All of these sitters take multiple dogs. When I called the support number the employee was unable to find my account and asked me question after questions with no concern about what I was calling about. She just wanted the account info. She suggested a call a sitter on their list with one star--the sitter returned the dog while the owner was still on vacation. I don't think she's a good candidate for dog sitting. Will file with the BBB and with the Consumer Affairs in the State of Florida. Rover is a scam for the most part. I have used 3 sitters in the past, unfortunately since this is an emergency they have no availability. I guess I was just lucky before but rover has been useless this time.

SCAMMED!! We booked Marlena in the Cincinnati area and set up a meeting at our house. Marlena not only didn't show but no answer to texts, calls, several over 12 hours. We paid and were charged but no service from rover (no caps) This is a great start with this place. Then I read all of the bad reviews for all reasons and the response is typical from the company. "This is unusual for this to happen". How often does it have to happen before people say no thanks? No BS for me, you don't screen well enough for anyone to trust. You don't just want to get lucky to get someone good. Find another way to care for your pets or be left stranded like us one day before our plane departs. Responsibility is to cover the expense of boarding when you get scammed by one listed with great reviews.

L’idea sarebbe molto bella ed utile se non fosse per l’incapacità di chi gestisce le cose. Non c’è possibilità di scambio e interazione con gli sviluppatori che agiscono come se fossero onnipotenti senza poter dare possibilità di spiegare e difendersi. La maggior parte dei sitter non ha conoscenze degli animali e lo fa non per passione ma solo per guadagnare qualcosa nel modo più facile a discapito degli animali Spero che le cose possano cambiare e rendere davvero seria questa azienda

Zero Stars! Absolutely appalling treatment of our chocolate Labrador. Do not use this service. We left Poppy with the pet sitter whilst we went away for 2 weeks. On our return she had lost nearly 5kg in weight! Everything we left with the sitter was returned to us in a filthy, disgusting state, faeces on her bed, mould growing inside her water bowl and the feeding bowl caked with old dog food. Rover are refusing to accept any form of liability. Poppy was neglected during her 2 week stay and Rover are taking no responsibility for this lack of care, our contract is with Rover and all monies were paid directly to them. Despite repeatedly asking for someone in authority to telephone us they have as yet only sent emails denying our request for a full refund and compensation.

Sitters have very misleading wording in listing which implies they have a huge yard/play area which is not true. Outside area was more like a small chicken yard with concrete patio blocks and plastic grass.

Took money for a service the sitter can’t do and didn’t confirm! App history shows I’ve made no payments when I have made 2, one with a previous sitter. No email to confirm the money was going to be taken but my card has been debited. The app says you don’t take final payment until the sitter has confirmed, so why have you taken the money regardless? She can’t do the date!

No accountability or responsibility are required of their boarders or whatever they choose to call them. I wouldn't risk again using people who don't have insurance or someone watching over them to make sure they are being at the least, ethical. Some clearly need supervision. I won't use Rover.com ever again.
