Sarah was awesome...the whole experience was very easy and quick to set up!

So much better than a kennel! The sitter took good care of our dog, who is usually shy with strangers. Too bad she didn't have a yard, but she took Ruby for walks, so that's nice.

It was easy to use, and we found lots of willing dog sitters! We met once, and knew my dog would be in good hands.

In truth, most everything about this site is truly excellent. There was a bit of a delay on emails I sent to my sitter. I also would have like to see something about "I will not be sitting other strange dogs with yours" option available... but these are just things that need a bit of tweaking. It was an excellent service to have at my disposal, and it gave me everything I needed to quickly plan a decent sitter for my Labrador. Of course, I should have asked about the extra dogs in my email, so that's partly on me. Fix the email and this is absolutely 5 stars. It's possible that the sitter just didn't promptly open her mail too.

It was easy for me to find a couple of potential matches for my dog and I matched up with a wonderful sitter. She has taken great care of my "Boy" three times and I love the convenience, price, peace of mind.

I was a first time rover.com user and this was the first time I had left my dog with anyone other than a family member or friend. Needless to say I was nervous. I knew that I wanted my dog to be well taken care of with ample time out to play and that is what I found. She stayed with a wonder person who sent me picture updates of my dog throughout her time there. I was rather impressed with how well it went and will definitely keep this in mind for the future.

It's difficult to view the profiles of past boarders, I can never seem to figure out how to just see the profile.

Rover.com is a good service and definitely comes in handy when you need it, but watch out for what nobody tells you ----- your dog could be staying with up to 5-6 other dogs for your vacation. The ads imply that it's just your dog and the sitter's dog, but that is NOT the case. In my case, my little dog had to stay with 5 dogs total, including the owner's 2 dogs, and they were HUGE!!! Which left us as we left with some feelings of trepidation. It all worked out, but you should know up front how many dogs are going to be at sitter's house with your dog.
