I had a booking for my dog Ace then me and then the care giver said he would rather pick Ace up. I said im driving right through your city on my way to work and back again. He never told me how he wanted to do the drop off or did he give me his address. So i ate the charge and chalk it up to lesson learned delete this app

Worst experience EVER! 😪 "BRIANNA" Need to be banned from ever watching a dog again! Very unprofessional, doesnt feed,water,take car of ALL the dogs she watches ,is pregnant and never mentioned it and told me she'd be there whole time to take care of my son and was hardly there and had someone i never met "take care of my boy".. i left just enough food and treats for 4 days and when i picked my son Shady up ALL his food and most his treats was still in bix i left with them... he got in the car and was begging me for water like they never even gave him water... something needs to be done!! 😡

My experience was horrible I provided my dogs schedule on Rover as well as to the sitter and it was not followed. When I asked the sitter about this is she became very defensive and rude and even went as far as trying to insult me about my dog which made my trip very uncomfortable because I had to worry about the safety of my dog. I provided everything my dog needed leash, harness, collar, bed, bowls, etc however the sitter decided to put an old dog collar on my dog that did not belong to him and also fed him out of another dogs bowl after specific instructions not to, I don’t even allow my dog to eat off the ground let alone someone else bowl.

Rover est incontestablement une plateforme pratique et sécurisée pour les propriétaires de chien et chat. En revanche elle ne fait preuve d'aucun soutien envers ses dogsitters. J'ai eu une expérience très désagréable avec un propriétaire malhonnête qui m'a ensuite incendié sur mon profil. Rover n'a jamais fait quoi que ce soit pour me protéger et vérifier la véracité de ce commentaire. Aujourd'hui je suis lourdement pénalisé pour une faute que je n'ai pas commise, et ne reçois plus aucune demande. Chers dogsitters, soyez donc prêts à payez les frais Rover sans broncher, mais n'attendez pas recevoir le moindre soutien en cas de mauvaise expérience.

Sarah said she scheduled my visit incorrectly. She was 2.5 hours late. The potty log was blank upon completion, which is almost impossible for a one hour walk. The door to my apartment was not locked correctly. The hole in the door jamb for the deadbolt was clearly visible upon returning. I am very unhappy with Sarah's service. However, others I have used are fantastic. I just made the mistake of allowing Sarah to take care of my dog.

I had a terrible experience where my dog sitter allowed my dog to run out and roam the streets in a not so safe area, where he was in the street and was found by someone. Who called me only cause my number was on his collar. What also is terrible is that I told Rover about this incident in reviews and emails and they have yet to even reach out asking any questions, saying sorry or offering some kind of refund.

I had two petsitters the first one was good. although she didn't drive. The second one was a disaster. She stayed at the house and when I came home I found that there was a lot of things missing. she robbed me. Be careful, rover doesn't vet their people.

Rebekah from Charlotte,NC is not a good sitter and should not be on Rover. She is not a dedicated sitter and neglects the dogs left in her care. I don’t think I’ll use Rover again because there is no way to screen these so called dog sitters.
