We have now used Rover.com several times. It is fantastic to have profiles and user reviews to assist in the selection of the best fit. The only suggestion I have in the spirit of continuous improvement is to encourage the providers to keep their calendars and profiles up to date. It can be discouraging to find out the provider no longer house sits or is not available despite open calendar. Overall however , fantastic service... Thank you!

This is the first time I used Rover. Based on my experience, I'd use them again. I like being able to select from a variety of options for sitters in my neighborhood. Most of the sitters have yards and/or provide walks, and offer to accommodate your pet's needs. I had a question for Rover Support and someone did get back with me the next day.

Sometimes it can be hard finding a sitter and the prices can be a little pricey. The sitters are very friendly and willing to work with your schedule. My dog has never had a complaint! He comes home relaxed and tired

Search feature needs refining, such as sorting by closest. Several sitters I contacted did not have their calendars updated, so I wasted time contacting them. Bio's and reviews are good.

Easy and fast to book

This was our first time trying Rover and it was a really great experience. We were able to 'shop' for a caretaker online and find one that was reasonably priced and close to our location. We then did a meet and greet so we could feel each other out. The process was very easy from beginning to end (locating to booking to keeping in contact with our caretaker). The only thing I would say came as a little surprise was the Rover fee when booking. I thought the price that the caretaker advertised would be the end price, but Rover added on a fee of their own at the end. Not a deal-breaker, just something that wasn't expected.

I like the site and the service. Finally there is an app I can use to find an excellent and trustworthy dog sitter/walker. I especially like that folks get a background check and that all real phone numbers are hidden but I can still text/call my sitter from my phone! Perfect. I gave it 4 stars because I had to contact several people before I found the right person. The first & second sitter I contacted weren't very nice but the third one was super professional!

I sat for a woman with four dogs, and she didn't put that on the site. It felt like there was no way for anyone to help me in the situation and they took out a larger chunk of money from what I made than I thought they would. However, I've used it for sitters watching my dogs and it has been great.
