Fantastic Dog Sitter
My dog sitter was excellent, but I felt after I hired him and paid for the service, any communication between him and me should be private. Wasn’t a fan that all our messages were posted on the website.

Happy pets overall
My pet sitter was 1-1.5 hours late to each 7 am visit and sometimes came early to her last visit of the night which widened the gap of time between the evening and morning visit. Pets were happy and healthy overall and home was in good condition upon return.

I’ll see what I’ve said several other…
I’ll see what I’ve said several other times and that’s that the service fees that you add on certainly make Rover much more expensive. Other than that, I have no complaints.

While I was able to find a great sitter…
While I was able to find a great sitter for my dog, I had a lot of requests that were not responded to which was frustrating. Overall a good experience.

Great sitting experience. Not so great website experience.
The actual sitting experience was great and once direct communication was established with the sitter, all questions and concerns were addressed. I took one star off because the website experience is a bit frustrating. Multiple choice options are inadequate and ultimately time-consuming ways to communicate needs for both the potential sitter and client. Also, emails from Rover unrelated to the actual sitting are too many.

It is difficult to find booked and…
It is difficult to find booked and confirmed appointments. There should be a clear path for customers to be able to see these. Otherwise I am pleased with Rover. Very happy with the sitter I found also.
