Awesome site, however continued log in issues and difficult to receive promotions we are still waiting for a couple discounts to be recorded... Actually maybe they've been recorded now... I haven't been able to log in for 2 weeks

It was easy to find a pet sitter that was near where I lived. I had a great experience. The only thing I did not like was that a service charge was charged when I booked. I am okay being charged a service charge, but I would have liked to have known that upfront before I was ready to book and prior to the meet and greet with the pet sitter. I don't remember reading about that on the website or in the FAQ.

Easy to navigate website with fast payment options. Great service.

Needed to make a last minute trip and Rover came through. The couple weeks found to house and pet sitting were wonderful.

I booked a dog sitter with Rover.com for my dog, Stewie. I would be out of the country for 26 days, so I needed to be sure that Stewie was in the best of hands. I first booked with a local dog sitter (Sarah) who I had a really bad experience with. She would not visit my dog every day (as promised) and when she did, would only spend 5-10 minutes. After my neighbor told me about what was going on, I contacted Rover.com support and explained my situation in great detail. They were super quick to fire my dog sitter (Sarah) and refund me the days that she wasn't at my house, as well as penalize her. They also found me a MUCH MUCH better dog sitter (Howard) who was on a whole different level. Howard was super attentive and helpful with Stewie, and would send me daily photos and ask me about Stewie's behavior. The fact that he took the time to do this told me that he really cared about Stewie and keeping my mind at ease. This made me forget about the horrible experience I had with Sarah. I would highly recommend Rover.com to anyone, and please don't make the mistake I made of getting a dog sitter that didn't have any reviews. Find someone who is tried and tested because otherwise you might end up with someone like Sarah, and you don't want to put your beloved pet through that.

Love the app and the idea behind it. Makes it easy to get affordable pet care on short notice. It would be nice if there was a place to note/confirm the scheduled time in the booking itself rather than just the messages. It would also be nice if a "pending" booking sent the person it is waiting on a reminder every so often (even 24 hours) - would make it nicer than having to remind a pet watcher to officially accept the booking once an agreement is made; sometimes they forget.

I discovered Rover after having a bad experience of having my dog boarded at a kennel and when he returned he started acting strange. The sitter I met through Rover is a very friendly and professional. Much better for my dog and the peace in mind for an affordable service the whole family will feel comfortable with.
