House/pet sitter did not fulfill agreed…
House/pet sitter did not fulfill agreed upon duties. I would not recommend her.

Rover SUCKS!!!!
Rover takes your money at least 30 days before the booking actually happens. Their people aren't as qualified as they make them out to be. The women who said she could give my cat fluids refused to try ahead of time and assured me that she could do it. As it turns out instead of 4 days and 3 nights in Nantucket, we only had one night and one and a half days - had to return to give my cat fluids so she wouldn't die of dehydration. Lost $1,400 in hotel fees. DON"T HIRE ANYONE THROUGH ROVER!!!!

Thank you for your feedback. Similar to a hotel or flight reservation, payment for a stay occurs at the time of booking. We're also sorry to learn about your how your stay went. Though not reflective of a typical Rover experience, of support team is available 24/7 in the event that you need assistance during a booking.

The sitter left my animals overnight…
The sitter left my animals overnight alone for 12 hours and instead of rover just issuing me a refund they told me to work it out with the dog sitter who called me names

Searching for a sitter is very time…
Searching for a sitter is very time consuming and the profiles are not updated in a timely manner. The ones that say confirmed availability for the dates you are interested in really aren’t available. I won’t be using Rover anymore due to this.

Last minute decision as our pet sitter…
Last minute decision as our pet sitter let us down, so we chose to use Rover. A 3 day booking, in 2nd day the pet sitter called to let us know our bulldog had an injury, but she didnt know how it happened? As we were away we couldn’t do anything until our return. They cleaned it and said for us to chk on our return. Turns out our dogs testicle was bitten (by another dog), and became infected. Vet bill was £300 on top of the £200 we paid for keeper. NOT impressed with this outcome and will NOT be using Rover again….! ☹️ You do not leave your pet with a so called registered person and then your pet coMes home with an infected injury. Not happy at all. 🐶 was very distressed after having a jab and tablets for the infection. It was a disgusting experience overall and distressing for Our dog.

Horrible Company
The dog sitter we hired through Rover left his front door open and our dog ran off. The dog sitter did not notify us that our dog was missing. Bentley was gone for over two hours. When we got home from vacation, he was in our fenced in backyard and we found a note in our mailbox that someone had found him and saw our address on his tag. When we contacted Rover about this they said they could not help in any way because the dog sitter is an independent contractor. We’ll never use rover again.

Had issues with the sitter as my dog…
Had issues with the sitter as my dog came home injured. Contacted Rover Support desk, and they took 3 days to respond. I didn't want to wait 3 days so took my dog to the vet, got him taken care of with multiple punctures. Rover Support person finally responded asking for a description of what happened. I sent it a few days later, but they seemed to have already closed the case as I never heard back. I would never use this App again to find a dog sitter, experience has been horrible.
