Had a very good experience. Ariel checked in with me after the walk to let me know how my dog did. She was good with communicating with me.

They have a great variety of caretakers for your pups and cats. Definitely recommend this service.

This is a great alternative to kennel or commercial boarding for your dogs. You can find someone n your neighborhood, interview them, read reviews from previous clients, customize your care, and be comfortable while you are away. Three co-workers recommended Rover.com and we had a great experience. It was such a relief and made my time away worry-free.

This site is easy to use and has lots of dog sitters in our area, giving us plenty of choices to find a suitable dog sitter for our needs. Overall it is a great site with great features, so very happy with them. Couple of cons: 1: There is no way upon review of sitters to see if the sitter provides a lower rate for a second dog when accepting two dogs from the same owner. Only after initiating booking does it become visible. Also, would be nice if sitters had the option to offer long-term discounts (like if they sit a dog for 2 weeks or more, then the rate is discounted). 2: Rover charges sitters 20% of the fee, that is very steep. Especially considering that they are charging owners a 5-7% service fee on top of the listed rate for the sitter, ultimately leaving the sitter with less than 75% of the amount that is charged to the owner.

Rover has been a great resource for helping to find a place for our dog to stay. The system is great for helping to find local feasible sitters and homes quickly. As an improvement, it would be helpful if sitters were better screened for size of dog they can handle and space available for the pet. I find that a number of the sitters underestimate the space needed for larger dogs. Meet and greats are an essential part of finding a good match for your pet. Overall a great service. Thank you Rover!

Using Rover was fairly simple to use in order to book our furbaby's stay with the dog sitter.
