Rover.com | Pet SittingReviews of rover.com

Rover is a great service for matching dog walkers and sitters with dog owners. We were turned off to commercial boarding and kennels due to their corporate nature and singular goal of moneymaking. Using Rover to find a sitter allowed our dog to be in a comfortable home environment, receive individual attention, and stay with a qualified sitter. I liked that Rover lets you search for sitters with pet CPR certification, Rover training, verified identity, and other safety features. The only negative about Rover is that sitters list prices on their pages but are then allowed to charge whatever price they want after you request to book. Our sitter came back with a $3 per day rate increase because the stay was extended, even though her rates never mentioned a long stay surcharge. Rover acts as the moderator between client and service provider, so they can and should hold their sitters to the posted rates, since their terms force you to pay through their service (so they get the fee). Otherwise a great website offering a unique and superior pet experience.

I was super skeptical about meeting a stranger to watch my fur-kids. Rover's insurance helped soothe my mind about IF anything happened, so did the people on the Rover site. I found an amazing pet sitter, and met many other great pet sitters in the process.

We are repeat customers on Rover, which saved our life after moving to a new area. Tired of boarding out dog, we found an awesome family for him to stay with. Now we have lifelong friends! We love all Rover's features, like the itinerary and insurance. The process is not quite intuitive for using the app and website, but we were able to navigate regardless. We would like a way to look up a booking without going through the inbox. If the platform were improved, this would be a five star review.

It has some good points. The ability to schedule and the insurance are some great ones. I very much dislike the lack of being able to leave negative reviews, yep all you can say about someone is good thing. If they don't show, cancle at the last min you can't go anywhere in their profile to state that they are unreliable. That sucks BIG time. I ha e been personally been stood up twice and can Don nothing about it.

Everything went great with Brenda and Bailee with her recent stay. Highly recommend Brenda.

We used Rover.com because the kennel we took our dog changed owners and I didn't like the new changes. A friend had recommended Christine Huggins through Rover.com and we setup a meet and greet. My husband and I felt that they were great people that loved dogs, their home was warm and inviting and very dog friendly, and their back yard was fenced in and spacious. While we were away on our trip we got daily pictures and reports which were very comforting know our baby was doing great each day. When we had boarded our dog at kennels we would call to check on her and you never knew if they were checking on her or just saying she was ok. I have already booked 2 more visit with Christine for our baby. I did have a little trouble with the website at first trying to book our stay that first time but if you use the help button it usually walks you through your questioned.

The gal we had walk our dog was very friendly and we felt very safe leaving our "baby" with her.

My experience from beginning to end was easy, successful and memorable. Thank you ROVER.COM
