The reason I gave Rover 4 stars instead of 5 was not because of the one that actually took care of my dogs. It was because the first person I contacted was to come for meet and greet. She never showed up, never called or texted. For me, that was huge! I was very dismayed until I talked to the one who blew me away with kindness and care and texts and pictures EVERY time they visited. I'd not left my pups with strangers before and I was so very able to relax and enjoy my short vacation knowing that they were well cared for. I will definitely use them again.

We were afraid to leave our dog with anybody until we found this great person on rover.com we were so happy that she had fun and we had no worries. She got to stay in a pet friendly house and not in a cage

We have finally found a person we feel comfortable taking care of our pets for us. After many interviews with candidates from both Rover and other than Rover, we found the right fit for our family. Rover sure makes it easy to connect with candidates and they are on top of things. I am happy with our relationship with Rover.

I would only give rover.com a four star because their application on the phone isn't always reliable and I wish they would add more to the report card. Other than that I love working for rover and I love all my current and future clients.

I was hesitant to use rover at first bc it's the unknown! But I got very lucky! I met a few people on rover to seehow things worked and everyone was really nice no creepy people and everyone loved cash! When it finally came time for him to be watched my sitter was friendly updated me frequently I was never worried because she updated me before it got there! I will use rover again for sure!

I had same day booking for my dog, he had a wonderful time and was treated with love and care. The only thing was that he came home with fleas. He was out on a farm, so I shouldn't be surprised, but it was something I hadn't thought of.

Had never hired anyone to care for my animals and was a bit nervous. Rover.com ended up working great - my favorite feature is the report cards with photos that you get. The minor improvement I would suggest is letting users customize the hiring / quote part better.

My boyfriend and I adopted a 10 week old puppy and were hit with some unexpected work travel and late nights in the office shortly after. Since our pup was so young and didn't have all of his vaccines, not many doggie daycares would take our little boy. Rover saved the day with a fast and easy way to book a sitter in our neighborhood! It's worth noting that Rover reads all your messages between you and your dog sitter and is quick to ping transactions that attempt alternative forms of payment (Venmo, cash, etc.) It felt like an invasion of privacy but I get that the app has to make money somehow. If you have privacy concerns watch what information you share while messaging your Rover. Share sensitive information like where you store spare keys or how to get into the house with your dog sitter in person instead of through chat or your Rover profile.
