Contacted pet sitters to have a block error 175,abused verbally by these people I been very ill with internal bleeding multiple ulcers, I was rushed into urgent care. This sitter said I'm not interested are you booking or not ,they actually contacted me on WhatsApp its a terrible traumatic scam I've been subjected to,these people can't be vetted I'm reporting this. It's took me back I felt ill after the demanding abusive call. Then I had a message saying £550 pay now. Rover you have my emails you blocked these people with your error message 175,but didn't warn me.

Instructions for drop in times were not followed at all. This led to health issues for my 11 year old Zoe as she needed to be fed and given water at a specific time especially in the mornings, as well as evenings. Disappointed 😔 September 17-21st 2022

The babysitter on her profile said allow dogs on bed she left my puppy unattended witch I told her not to that he lays in bed with us he is never left alone she left him alone one night and he is a puppy and he tore up her couch not my fault she then texts us to say we Bette pay first of all false advertisement it says dogs aloud on bed and now she is saying she doesn’t allow big dogs on be she should have said no dogs in be and I wouldn’t have chosen her and so it’s her fault her couch got ripped and for her to text us and say we better pay her is so in professional

I applied to do dog sitting on the Rover platform and was denied due to a charge that was dismissed, and it was clearly dismissed on my record. It’s sad that anyone can accuse another person of a crime, be found to be innocent(all charges dropped), and yet society looks at them as a criminal even AFTER they case was dismissed.

I think it’s stupid both parties get charged a service fee and the amount was ridiculous!!

Terrible experience. I picked a house sitter weeks in advance. No meet and greet. Showed up 2+ hours late. Hardly spent time in my home. Had some random man do the work for her. I filed a report through rover and still haven’t heard back. My dog got sick because they let him eat mulch even though i specifically mentioned it. The list goes on. Absolutely trash.

my dog died a couple days after staying with sitter from this site. Emails calls pictures were sent nothing was resolved they didn't care BE CAREFUL with your pets!!!!

If you care about you dog's welfare while you travel, stay away from this service. Providers are entirely unreliable. We tried to find a daily dog walker for three weeks to supplement our house sitter friend. Multiple people said they could do it, then never showed up for an arranged meet-and-greet, or ghosted us when we tried to arrange the meet-and-greet. at least we found out they were flakes before we left and had to count on them to actually walk our dog.
