Rover is a useful site that offers pet …
Rover is a useful site that offers pet parents a variety of services with confidence and peace of mind. I was able to find a trustworthy, dog loving dog walker I felt comfortable entrusting my Hunter with my first try. The site offers many other different types of services, all at reasonable prices, also in my area as well as many others. However, the site is confusing, hard to understand and difficult to navigate. That is the only reason why I didn’t give Rover five stars.

Kristen Huffman is THE BEST PET SITTER!
Our pet sitter Kristen Huffman is THE BEST!!! We cannot say enough positive about her caring, experience and willingness to go the extra mile for the pets in her care and us as well. I thought the Rover site was a bit difficult to navigate but gradually figured it out, a good service.

I started with doggy Vacay
I started with doggy Vacay, and they got bought by Rover. The only reason I have them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I do not love the App—it’s no reflection of the care. Regarding the care, I love our sitter Mary, trust her completely. That being said, you have to do your homework. Have several meet and greets, maybe start with a single night before heading to Europe. The best part of the app is you have choice and can find the right care giver for your furry family and for you.

Love my dog!
I have only used one sitter, but she has been wonderful. I do plan to try some of the other sitters. I started with dog vacay before the merger. My only complaint with Rover is that they charge a booking fee which was not something done with DogVacay. It is very convenient to use the site.

Helpful
Rover has proven very helpful to us. We found a great person to care for our dog, someone we wouldn't have found on our own. A couple aspects of the website are rather counter-intuitive or confusing when you book the first time but, other than that, it's all good.

good experience using Rover. Had to cancel once with no problem, and booking was easy. Also appreciate receiving photos of my dog through Rover.
