i have used Rover for years when needing someone to watch my pets. Generally it has been great. I do find the app difficult to navigate at times, with a few glitchy things here and there, which is why I gave 4 stars. Unfortunately, there are no rover helpers close to my home, so I have to always hope someone will be willing to drive more than 20 miles to come to me, but so far I have been able to find help, which is good.

The overall experience was great for locating sitters that were close buy. Lots of fallow up after your purchase from Rover. I was very grateful for the sitter I was able to connect with. I found that the app was not user friendly,which made the experience less than what it could have been.

Everything part of the process went well. Rover helped us find another reliable dogsitter when we needed her. I only give four stars because of the expense. We have four cats and six dogs, so the bill was significant.

Multiple sitter profiles. Clear pricing. Tipping allowed after sessions are completed. Also love that the site conducts a background check for all sitters.

GREAT and helpful. When you do your pre-sitting meet and greet, go with your instincts. Even with good ratings some sitters aren’t as attentive as they may let on. One is obviously running a kennel in their home, my dog spent too much time alone and then I saw SO MANY dog crates in one room when I picked him up.
