Some sitters are some sitters are…
Some sitters are some sitters are pretty bad make sure they have atleast 20+ reciews because the recent one we use had good reciew but only 5 and it was a horrible experience for us. Non communicative our dog got nib and the sitter didnt inform us until we saw blood on his ear.

The person I found was great
The person I found was great. I found Rover's platform to be very cumbersome, clunky and user UN friendly. Difficult to navigate and confusing.

Sitters Great, Appm and Algorithms Challenging
I think the quality of the sitters is good but the app is really unpleasant to use. It’s hard to log in from different devices, and finding a sitter you’ve used or met before is near impossible to navigate. They require you to post your job before you can get in to see sitters. We prefer to make sure a sitter is available before we book travel.

The Rover app needs much improvement
The Rover sitters I have used have been mostly great. But the Rover platform itself is awful. It is very difficult to make modifications or resolve booking issues. I have run into quite a few frustrations with the Rover app and although I use them a lot, I am about at the end of my rope with the last booking modification I encountered on the app. I don't think I'll be using Rover in the future.

Good pet sitter but so expensive
I don’t like that you put in how many animals you need care for and it shows you a price per night but then when you go to book that price per night is per pet. It was very deceiving and I wouldn’t have continued booking with Rover if I had any other option. We did end up with a great pet sitter which was nice but it was three times the price I thought I was going to pay because of the way Rover is set up.

Like the selection, don't like the support
There are good people available in the search, and I do love Sophia, who has been walking my dog now for a bit. However, your company and your capacity to help customers know how to navigate the system leave a lot to be desired. I was thoroughly disappointed with the general lack of guidance for figuring out how the payment scheduling goes when a customer garners ongoing service. There was no information about how this was done, leaving me nervous that somehow Sophia was not going to be paid. When I tried to contact people at the help desk through online chat, I quickly realized that the way the system is set up, if you do anything with your browser other than leaving it on the exact same page, you get cut off from the conversation, and there is no way to get back to the same person. I found myself repeating myself multiple times before anyone understood what I was asking, and even though the answer turned out to be simple, it was frustrating to get to.

Rover is a great concept
Rover is a great concept but we've been unable to form any lasting connections with walkers or sitters and basically have to start the whole vetting process over again each time we need a service. A lot of people with listings don't respond, have out of date availability or cancel at the last minute. I've requested to Rover time and again that they create more barriers to listing and do more quality checks to address these issues, similar to how AirBNB has managed their hosting platform. Maybe the more reliable people are just out of my price range ($60 for a walk is reaching).
