Great service
Great service. A bit pricey for half an hour, but that's the cost of convenience. Excellent customer service, and you get to see where your dog has gone.

Upon a recommendation, we used Rover.com and it was a great experience. We knew the name of the person we wanted so that was great but the Meet and Greet process allows you to make the decision of who you want to watch your pets. The communication is awesome and every detail is included. The website is a little tricky but all you have to do is call and they help you right through it.

We found a great dog sitter through Rover. The app allows you to easily search for sitters using filters, read reviews and communicate with potential sitters. They have a minimal booking fee and provide some protection for services used if something went wrong.

Once you find the right sitter Rover offers this perfect platform to feel confidant that your pack will be taken care of. However, finding that right person can be challenging on this platform. You have to rifle through a lot of misses. Thankfully, I have found two sitters and hope to be able to use them exclusively. It would be a nice benefit if we could also add a tip when paying.

I really loved Rover.com! The only thing I experienced is I feel the website and navigation could be a little easier. It would be nice to have the ability to go back and delete old messages, to be able to have a way to correspond with an existing sitter without having to find an old message or reservation and use that as the way to communicate. The website could be more user friendly, however, I will continue to use Rover.com for my fur-babies care needs!

This was our dog Bella's second stay with Mary our sitter and Bella had a blast. She was well cared for, loved, nourished, and got plenty of exercise. I never doubt Bella's care with Rover.com. I will say however that the online reservation system could be improved a bit. My reservation was duplicated and I am still waiting for my credit, which I have no doubt will come. Rover was very on top of taking care of this. The important thing to me is I trust Rover and so does my dog Bella.

Rover is great. I honestly think it's the best of the dog walking apps. We've tried a few and this one is by far the best. They act as intermediary, which puts the onus on you to find, contact and meet with dog walkers or watchers. Because of the way this system is set up, the process feels both safer and more thorough. Additionally, their vetting process for walkers seems to be the most thorough and responsible, as they've trained their walkers in how to use common harnesses (something other apps still haven't done and we've had a lot of trouble with even the most basic harness). The reason I gave it four stars versus five is because I think their user interface still needs a little bit of streamlining, as it is unnecessarily complex and requires multiple steps to book anything, whereas other apps are one or two click and you're done.

The sitters get 5 Stars. Rover gets 4 because unlike this site, Rover shows that all its sitters have 5 stars! That is not a real star system and I think it takes away from the great sitters who really are worthy of 5 stars. Why not be like TrustPilot and Yelp — and also give the sitters or Rover a chance to rebut a review (like other sites do) because there are crazy people out there who will never be pleased (with great sitters, the odd ball bad review will be washed away by all the good reviews). You have to read all the reviews to get an idea of the sitter which lengthens the time it takes to find one you like. Anyway, I love the sitters I’ve used and I generally like the Rover app, but show the average star rating for everyone and the amount of stars a person gave. My sitters have earned 5 stars and they deserve to stand out!
