I like rover because they will help you find sitters at the last minute if needed and provide support if needed. The down side is they focus almost solely on dog sitting and finding a sitter for a cat or other pet takes a lot vetting. You still get constant emails about your "dog" from rover. Also I'm not sure how well they vet sitters since recently my sitter did not show up or answer calls or text. The good thing about rover is they require texts from sitters so you know if they have showed up or not. The process for getting a last minute sitter when that happened was effective but still could have better. They sent basically an SOS out to the pet sitter community of rover and what followed was many, many texts and emails that I felt I should respond to after booking someone which wasted a lot of my time. It would have been better if they had selected maybe 2 or 3.

I enjoy the services from sitters that I've used. However, the site itself is confusing for cat owners. Even when uploading photos of your pets, there is no way to choose if they are cats. So my two cats are listed as dogs.

Rover is great, when you can get a walker. Sometimes it takes a while to get matched and finding someone to take your dog for a day is hard as well. Eventually you will, it just takes more work than is let on.

We have used "Rover.com" just once now and feel confident with their pet sitters based on the experience we had with the sitter we chose, Linda Hale. We have 100% confidence in her abilities and knowledge. We trust her with our animals and our home. Hopefully, ALL of their sitters are of this caliber and we will never have a bad experience. If I could be assured about the integrity of the other sitters for the future I would give "Rover.com" five stars.

We hired Cindy to take care of our beloved family members. She did an excellent job. Rover made it simple to review Cindy's others experiences, communicate with her and hire her. Cindy was on time, professional, really good with our dogs and extremely kind. She kept us updated on our dogs' routines and communicated their progress through the visits. She was excellent and the dogs loved her! I do have a comment about the Rover app. At times it's difficult to navigate. It's almost impossible to update or make edits to services if they need to change before the transaction. And the constant emails that accompany the texts can be too much. Overall the experience is terrific, but the app needs some adjustments.

Amazing app with amazing people who will take care and pamper your fur babies.

All the caregivers have been great. Frustrated because they haven't been available next time I need d someone and one moved out of my area. Haven't been able to use same person twice. 🙁 I don't travel a lot so our schedules just don't meld.

Loved using them. Interviewed two very qualified caregivers. Loved that we were notified how each visit went including pictures.
