Had a lil trouble using the app

We went to look at 3-4 sitters before we landed on the one we liked. There are some great sitters out there, but some are questionable. My experience with rover would be 4/5. The below are thoughts on what could be better. I would definitely recommend rover to others people, in fact I already have. ended up liking the sitter we found on rover. - when you have more than one pet, the price automatically doubles. If I wanted someone to drop in to watch my cats, even though it's the same time and not that much more effort, the price automatically doubles. This was a pretty big deterrent for me. Especially for cats that are pretty much zero maintenance. - there could be a bit more done to double check sitters and their setup. There was one place we saw where someone was hosting dogs in a furniture store and the dogs barely got any yard time. For me this was a pretty big red flag and I was wondering how this was even a viable sitter allowed to host.

Wonderful people and wonderful walkers. I think the app should be updated to track your walker during the walk so they can drop pins where the pup went potty. Also enter videos and photos during the walk.

The requesting/booking process can be a little muddled but therwise, amazing service!

Trying to shop in the store has been a bit frustrating. I was wanting to get the leash and some bandanas, but the leash has been out of stock for several weeks and the large bandana for a little over a week. Shipping is really expensive so I wanted to wait until everything was in stock so I could just do one order. I finally gave up because I feel like I really need business cards so I just ordered the cards and the small bandana and accepted the shipping that doubled the cost of the items and bought a green leash off Amazon and got thank you cards from Target so I can at least have those to leave at people's houses. There are no measurements for the small bandana so I am just hoping that I will be able to rig it to fit larger dogs. For all I know, it is tiny, and I will have to pay the $10 in shipping to buy the $2.50 large size bandana or just not get it. I don't understand how things like that can be out of stock for so long. Except for the store, I like the site and blog a lot.

My sitter was great nd my dogs were happy, but she had a hard time with the app [maybe training needed for sitters?].

Rover has been great and the process of connecting with dog sitters has worked really well for us even at the last minute.

We have used Rover three times now, it can take few initial contacts to find someone available that seems to fit, but we have found someone to care for our pets each time. We were not able to book the same person twice yet because they already had other bookings. Our first sitter was good, our second was great & our third we are yet to try out, but we have met and we feel confident.
