The experience of finding a doggie day care while on vacation was great. Rover is a very handy idea, a terrific tool for finding daycare in your vicinity, at short notice, and put you in touch with the right people. There are a few bugs in the system though. The links related to my dog's stay, pictures, etc., that were sent to my phone didn't really work, and led me to error pages. And on one occasion an email was sent to a third party who was not on the transaction, so it caused a little confusion. But overall, aside from those little tech bugs, it's a great idea, and a terrific service. Would highly recommend.

Provides an excellent service; five stars for the service. I subtracted one star because the app is terrible and glitchy.

Rover.com provides pet owners access to MANY local pet sitters/walkers at their figure tips. Prices are very reasonable. The BIG complaints I have with Rover.com center exclusively with its site. It is VERY difficult to navigate, is frustrating, and confusing esp if something goes wrong. And there is no one to call for help. You get sent to FAQ which adds to the frustration. Rover.com REALLY needs to work with users to improve the interface. Seriously! But the idea is great and there's certainly a need for these services. There are too many sitters' profiles to review and no filters to wittle searches. There is no way to search for a specific person. You end up making decisions based on a picture. It's a series of imperfections and aggravations. Communicating with possible sitters was hit/miss with about half not replying to my first booking request and you can't delete them so you end up with a bunch of old junk mail. The great news is all those frustrations paid off and I eventually found someone to dog sit my 3 mutts. I hope she works out!

We have been happy with the Rover sitters we have hired. We love that we get to review them before payment is taken. The app could use some work though. I couldn’t tell if my message to Audrey was sent. I was on the app trying to figure it out while both emails and messages were being sent to me so there were duplicates. Love the service, but the app is a little confusing.

It has been really helpful in finding trustworthy people to watch our pup. The fees seem a bit high, but otherwise we're happy!

Love access to folks who can assist with my anxious dog. The app is not easy to go back and forth in. It took me a long time to go from a message back to home. The app needs a Home button that stays on each page.

Give clients the option to tip their dog sitter. Let dog sitters submit reviews of clients that other dog sitters can see.

We have 2 very large unfixed dogs. There is no way to filter out who will not sit unfixed dogs and it can take forever to sort them out. This is only a problem out of town as we have found our go-to in-town sitter through Rover. Other than that, we have never had a problem and we find Rover useful and easy to use. I have referred many friends to Rover.
