Needs some work
Great that this exists but as a new house sitter, my experience is that there is a great emphasis on the house sitters needing to provide reviews and photos to instil trust for the home owners, but with the three requests I’ve had so far from home owners, not one profile has had any reviews nor photos of their homes. It makes me feel very vulnerable, and shows a lack of care to the house sitters.

puppies
hard to navigate the process of booking. the pet sitter had very little experience with the breed and even after meet and greet did not know or remember the food and water I have self-feed and water bowls. the sitter complained every day

Your communication system is a pain in…
Your communication system is a pain in the butt. I understand what you are trying to do but you make it so difficult for me to communicate to my walker that I almost decided to go else where.

App stinks service provider great
App is not intuitive and hard to make changes on. I canceled walks, but was still charged and now I’m waiting for a refund. Service from our pet sitter was great.

Rover has been great overall
Rover has been great overall. They have hooked me up with several great sitters. My last experience was a great one with this particular sitter. She didn't do some of the things I requested and left my house not secure several times.

Rover does a good service but I didn't…
Rover does a good service but I didn't have the best experience. I paid a lot of money and my sitter did not do the best job. My dog was starving when I got home and her dog that I allowed her to bring into my home had urinated all over my bedroom. The sitter left my home a mess. She did not clean up after herself. The kitchen, counters and microwave were dirty and the bathroom was also dirty.

I would like to be able to contact…
I would like to be able to contact someone for a meet and greet without scheduling something. I would like your people to update their availability calendar a bit better. When I take the time to go through and search for someone who appears to be a good fit, I don't need to hear, "oh, I am no longer available".
