I used to work with „Cat in a Flat“ which was just fine and I had lots of bookings as a catsitter. Then rover took them over and to make it short: rover is a desaster. Terrible user experinece, obvioulsy made for dog owners, confusing and ill designed.

I find your website to not be very user friendly. This is especially true when needing to change/cancel a sitter. It’s horrible trying to find a phone number to call, then you get someone who barely speaks fluent English! You need to repeat your problem over and over again. It was a royal pain in the a$$!! Then the problem was NOT resolved and I had to go through it all over again!! Very poor customer service!!!!

I don’t work a normal 9 to 5 schedule. My schedule is fluid and I am on call between 12 and 15 hours per day. I do not need a Reminders about when to confirm a sitter for my dog. I also don’t need reminders telling me whether or not I need a sitter in the future. When I go into the app to look for sitters, it is simply because I am anticipating an unpredictable schedule. So kindly, please stop sending me reminders.

Si vous n’avez pas d’incident, de problème ou besoin d’une quelconque aide Rover est une bonne plate-forme de garde assez pratique. Maintenant et ceux même après plusieurs gardes réussis sans problème, j’ai eu deux problèmes suite à des gardes que j’ai effectué. Aucun soutien, aucune aide, aucune solution trouvée… aucun numéro de téléphone à appeler ni adresse postale. Tout ce qu’on obtient comme réponse est une réponse automatique pour nous faire patienter. Je me suis faite mordue pendant une garde, aucune aide est fournie par Rover et l’avis mensonger de la maître de ce chien n’a même pas été supprimé par Rover. Et ce même en apportant des preuves. Par dessus tout, je n’ai jamais reçu le paiement de deux gardes. Impossible d’obtenir une réponse convenable car le service chat est en boucle. On me dit que le remplissage des coordonnées bancaires est à ma responsabilité… alors que j’ai bien reçu les paiements d’avant et d’après sur ces même coordonnées bancaires... Un service doit répondre présent pour protéger les pet sitter, les chiens gardés et les propriétaires. C’est pour ça que nous payons les frais de plate-forme, pour être protégé !

Some of the dog walkers I have had encountered are not good communicators. They accept a schedule then are late without announcing it. They fabricate the walkers rating when one has a star sitter rating, and she almost let my dog get out of leash. She ran out in the street. The walker removed herself from our schedule without proper notice. Lastly, a new walker accepted the schedule. She didn’t inform me she was dead until after accepting it. That was not a problem of her hearing, it just would have been professional to let me have an option of knowing not withholding information. Then she showed up late everyday, without informing me until I contacted her to ask her eta! Finally, she asked me could I change our schedule to fit her not being able to get up early enough. This has been the most unproductive, unprofessional experience with a dog walker service I’ve experienced

Site très aboutis et très pratique avec une vraie communauté de petsitter. Le hic, les prix comme souvent !! Au prix affiché Rover ajoute 15% pour celui qui réserve et prélève 15% à celui qui garde. Et pour devenir petsitter il faut payer 15€ pour vérification de la carte d'identité. Pour ne rien gâcher tous les gains sont déclarés aux impots. N'importe quoi et très décourageant.

After being polite and friendly to my face, the sitter gave a scathing review of me, my home and my adorable dog that was full of lies, distortions and half-truths. He had on his profile that he had experience with senior dogs and was fine giving medicine. When my dog got sick leaving, he was clearly resentful of having a senior dog on his hands who unexpectedly required medicine.

I was very unhappy with the woman we hired via Rover - then when I wanted to cancel the last day and get a refund... I had to beg the dog walker to cancel it on her end.
