Company does not value safety
I had a few terrible experiences where a walker lost a key. The first walker I was suspicious of, and changed my locks and installed a ring doorbell. They came back and tried to get in my house after being fired. The second walker blew up my phone with angry texts after I fired her, also for losing a key. This meant I had to change the locks on my house twice in 10 days ($200 x 2 plus the ring doorbell). Rover refused to pay for rekeying- they said that's the walker's responsibility. That was pre-pandemic. When it came time to try again recently, I wanted to start a new account so I could rest easy there would be no retaliation. Rover would not allow me to do so; they stated repeatedly you can only have one account, there is no ability to delete the old and start a new account. They wanted me to block the old walkers and report them to continue to use their app (as if I didn't let them know that happened WHEN it happened). Both walkers are still on the app. No thank you. This company does not care about safety.
