This service is great. I get photos of my dog and distance they walked and other info every visit so you know they are actually walking your dog and you can see if they look happy. it is easy to communicate with my dog walker. My dog walker Nikki is great I am so grateful as my commute to work changed and I have a very timid rescue that needs lots of attention.

I wish I could get in touch with someone from customer service. The sitter was excellent caring and attentive. Both to my car and I. Unfortunately my trip got cut short. I haven't been able to find out about a refund or credit for the unused time. I've been fed up to the point that I've given up. After the review I finally received a reply. I didn't get the response I got wasn't what I was hoping for. The service is a very good idea. I would recommend it. I'll most likely use it again.

Rover is overall a nice application. With a few improvements, it could be a very nice application. The company has likely helped keep thousands of dogs (cats, and other animals) housed, healthy, and happy. This is a huge deal. Customer service can be very supportive, the design has a great concept and general feel, the insurance can be very supportive. Some work is a work in progress, but as the company develops, it will likely continue to progress along the way. The application, standalone, can be super fun. The algorithms or pairing can be genuinely amazing, and it's likely the company has employed many, many people within in-between phases, throughout their careers. There may be some mixed reviews online, but it's worth it to try for yourself. It's likely your dog will thank you.

Rover seems like it might be a good resource, but if you want to contact potential sitters, you must create an account, which is ok, BUT THEN YOU MUST GIVE A CREDIT CARD ON THE ROVER WEB SITE, BEFORE contacting the potential service provider. EDIT: The person in my household who informed me of the problem discovered the "Contact" button near the bottom of the screen. She ... I mean that person ... found the button before the polite reply from rover.com. My apologies. This is my only experience with rover.com, so I can't really give a more well-informed review other than referring to the polite reply from rover.com.
