Terrible service
Terrible service. Twice booked our dog into boarding. Twice accepted, Twice cancelled too late for us to do anything about it. I fear this company do not vet their untrustworthy sitters.

Sitter lied to me and stole from me. Rover took no action.
I’ve used Rover and every sitter was okay until Christmas 2022. Where I had a nightmare experience with a sitter who lied to me, was not fulfilling our agreement and later I found out she accused me of spying on her / her feeling unsafe when I had two cameras AND she stole from me. I contacted Rover support as I was the first one to use her through Rover and they took no action. I only recently found this out because my friend had sent me sitters for an upcoming trip I had. When I sent in a revised response to Rover stating the sitter is lying in her response to me, making accusations against me that are untrue, and stole from me I received a generic reply from them about how they hope I continue to use Rover. This experience has made me lose all trust in rover because someone can do all of these things and continue to be let into others homes.

We are sick of Rover sitters flaking
We are sick of Rover sitters flaking, often with less than 24 hours notice. There are NO repercussions for the sitters being flaky, or for not updating their availability, etc. Reliability is a basic expectation of any service and this service has repeatedly failed to hold their sitters accountable. Last minute cancellations have happened several times now. It is also exhausting texting alternate sitters just to find out they are busy, even though the site says they are available and just updated their calendar.

Horrible experience with the sitter
Horrible experience with the sitter. When we pick up the dog he had bruises and looked terrified. The sitter did not take any responsibility and rover did not help or protect me at all.

Attenzione
Mi sono iscritto da qualche settimana in questa piattaforma e per il momento ne sono molto deluso . Sostanzialmente ho ricevuto un sacco di prenotazioni fake da parte di chi gestisce l'app. Praticamente come succede in tutte le app di questo tipo , tu ti fai un profilo poi iniziano a contattarti per farti credere che l'app funzioni bene , e magari tu sciocco paghi e ti fai un account business come forma di investimento e guarda guarda poi in realtà non funziona come pensavi . Questa cosa delle prenotazioni fasulle avviene in vari modi , profili falsi poi subito cancellati , gente che chiama e poi si smarca con le scuse più banali ecc. Attenzione .

Unauthorized guests and my dogs out all night.
I had already reviewed my sitter when I found out she had guests over multiple times. When the guests were there she put my dogs outside for the whole night, which she did admit to. I am not happy at all!

Dog has had Diarrhea non stop since staying weekend at sitters place, as though having been poisoned.
