I’ll never ever recommend this company…
I’ll never ever recommend this company to any friends or family or clients. Site takes over 20% from pet sitter on top of more fees they do not take care of their pet sitters they also have many lawsuits going on I will never ever use this site again if your pets at a runaway!! Don’t waste ur time warning pet parents!!

Misleading, poorly vetted sitter.
The sitter charged $72 per night to stay with our dog and touted her house cleaning skills. Saying she would keep it as clean as she found it. She had people stay over, opened bottles of wine and whiskey, cooked lots of my food and ruined 2 pots. She left the kitchen with dirty dishes, food sitting out on counters, dried spills all over the counters, and debris all over the floor. Additionally, one of the bedroom blinds was shredded. Three of our beds were slept in. Windows were left wide open with the air conditioning blasting in 90 degree heat. She gave our dog excessive amounts of calming chews or took them for herself. She said she would be here to meet us upon our return but suddenly “had to leave” even though we were one hour ahead of schedule. We were unable to confront her about any of this and unable to find a way to contact Rover for compensation. I could not be more disappointed in her services and my lack of recourse with the Rover service.

The very worst
The very worst. Did not let dogs out. House full of feces, can not believe this business stays in business. Would avoid at all costs.

Tres mécontente du service chien drogué…
Tres mécontente du service chien drogué griffer avec des croutes partout et santé l’urine de chat première ne recommande pas du tout en plus quand vous signalez ils vous contactent pour faire une enquête sur la personne au bout de 3 jours pas de News donc je me permet de leur téléphoner pour avoir des nouvelles ils me demandent si j’ai fait des tests de dépistages pris des photos!!!! Ou va t’on pourquoi ne pas l’avoir demandé dès le début car c vrai on a drôlement envie de prendre notre chien en photo quand il vomit de partout qu’il a les yeux pleins de crottes d’œil il reste avachi dans sa niche un chien d’1 an et 7 mois aime faire la fête surtout un bouldogue français avec leur crise de délire

Rover is a scam and fakes clients
Rover is a scam. Every time that I get a request for a service, I immediately respond and the “client” continues to communicate with me, but once I say that I can do the service, communication stops. This has happened on more than 10 occasions. Such a waste of my time.

I don't like the lack of choice in "leaving a tip".
I don't like the lack of choice in leaving a tip or not. In my case, I paid 2,200. for slightly more than 2 weeks of boarding and training. And then to see a plea - constructed in a way that was hard to navigate without "guilt", was completely revolting. Get rid of it. These are independent contractors.

I was scammed by a sitter in Bend…
I was scammed by a sitter in Bend Oregon named Desiree. She lured me off the Rover site offering a $100 discount from $400 to $300. After 3 days she said my dog had fleas which was not true and said we had to pick out pets up immediately. She also made us pay an additional $300 to get our dogs back. Is that a ransom? Under the Color of Law she said she worked with the Bend Oregon Police Dept. which I am trying to verify, and threated us with a lawsuit if we didn't pay. This person, Desiree, is unethical and should be removed from Rover. Also, without difficulty, I've discovered she has many alias names. I wish I had done my homework as there seems to be some red flags about this individual.
