It does a good job getting sitters in one site for pet owners to request and purchase services.

I found the perfect kitty sitter. It was a bit pricey but overall worth it.

We used Rover to find a pet sitter while on vacation. The profiles provided gave us enough information to make our decision, which turned out to be fantastic. As far as the app is concerned, it was confusing when requesting to make an adjustment to the reservation. It made it appear as if it were a totally new request and I was afraid that by proceeding I would cancel my existing reservation. My sitter took care of the change on her end. Also, there isn't any mention that you can add a tip for the sitter after the reservation is concluded and you complete the review. Lastly, while the sitter's address was correct, the location via the app map wasn't accurate; I used google maps to get to the right location. The app is great for communicating with the sitter in real time. Overall it's very good, but could use some improvement to help a first-time user navigate the process.

I love my Rover sitters, they both make me feel very comfortable leaving my dog while away on vacation. Sophie comes back happy and tired. I appreciate the system of contacting and vetting sitters before the stay. I've eliminated a couple this way based on my comfort level and my dog's needs. My only real issue and the reason for the 4 start review is I find the site difficult to use. I always struggle to find existing reservations, and editing recurring reservations is hard, or maybe impossible. It's hard to tell because last time i ended up just canceling it. Searching listings is easy, everything else is kind of hard.

I was very, very, very happy with Vallery K, the sitter I selected, but there was some confusion with the Rover website. It kept wanting me to book with sitters that had been considered, but not chosen. It was a big plus to have a variety of choices. I'll definitely be booking with Vallery again. My dog and I both loved her!

In the past I have found some amazing sitters. But I have found most recently that there is very limited options in my area. When I try to find a sitter the app shows 19 - 30 miles away . It often doesn’t show the same sitters that I have previewed . Also the sitters have very limited times on their calendar. No one is available on a weekend in their home. Some of the prices have gone sky high too. I mean really $ 50 - 100 is kind of ridiculous for daycare or overnight ! I have used this site since it was was before rover . Somewhat disappointed right now .

Using this service for 2 years and so far so good.

I'm happy with the services.
