Grateful to Rover that I was able to find a great dog+house sitter. That said, I paid the app for a booking more than a week in advance. The app is not super intuitive. The dog sitter’s payment from the app was disbursed 2 days after the job was completed. Why should she have to wait for payment? Instead, there should be a way that i can release the payment when I get back maybe? Stressful for sitters. Makes me want to avoid this app. Seems sketchy as a business model — they can earn interest off the funds of others. : /

Easy. Was in real pinch. more expensive than my usual animal care but care was wonderful responsive and responsable.

I’ve only used Rover once - I’m very protective and don’t trust anyone . The girl that came was extremely sweet and listened - only down fall was she’s very petite and couldn’t handle my big dogs of 100 pounds so I had her just stay in the house . She had no experience in how to walk larger dogs .

Easy to use ! Found a great house sitter for our fur babies

I was hesitant to use an online service to find a stranger to stay in our home but thought I’d give Rover.com a try as friends recommended it. Tyler’s write up about himself seemed very sincere and we liked the fact that he lived in our town, all of which we learned from Rover. Somehow I missed the 411 on the $35 fee doubling for two dogs. That is significantly higher than we have ever paid for our dogs. I can see if the dogs are large and high maintenance but that is not the case with our two little dogs plus the amount of time he was here was minimal. We told him he didn’t need to be here other than to feed and stay over night. Other than that, we could not have been more satisfied. Ps. The way I had to input the time to the hour was kind of painful.

Ended up with great pet sitter but it was a little confusing for first time user since system asked me to contact several sitters. Then I got multiple text messages back from the 3 that I contacted.

As a first time user, I chose one pet sitter that I read reviews for and felt comfortable contacting. I waited to hear back and that was disappointing because I found out she could not accept my job 2 days before my trip. For 2 days I waited to find out from the sitter if she would take my job or not. Luckily I tried Kristen Nicole.Within 2 days I had a meeting and was able to leave my pets with excellent care.
