If I could rate lower score then I would . There's no words to describe what the recommended boarders done to our beautiful German shepherd . We met them prior to boarding and felt happy that she would feel home from home . We had only left her 12 hours prior and they sent photos of her shaved . It was devastating no one with any knowledge of german shepherd would shave them . Also questioned how they managed to perform the task .. then sent video of her non responsive . Trying to state she was content . .. we got her out within 24 hours . They have destroyed her physically and mentally . The long term health issues will be ongoing . German shepherds are double coated and they have taken away all her protection .. we are now questioning how this agency reviews there borders and seeking government certificates . Animal borders should be inspected by a governing body along with all care facilities .you need a licence to board any animal ... happy for anyone to contact me for evidence... legal action is being taken against you and our family have been in direct contact with you since this incident occurred

My dog was left alone in the middle of the night when we were reassured by the sitter that she would be with him through the night! She broke a 7 ft standing mirror, she did not send pics and videos everyday, and she left our home a mess with wet towels left in the bed, it was a terrible experience!! Plus she had the audacity to complain about her pay when obviously she was paid what she posted was her prices.

The girl watching by animals was supposed to stay the night seeing as that’s what I paid for and they did not. They also brought friends over the first day, after I explained my one dog had been attacked and has some trust issues with men. Along with when I got back home there were over 10 accidents for me being gone 3 days, as if they were never even taking out or cared for,

I paid for a local sitter to come and meet my dog Dolly, so we could gently ease her in, to having a stranger around her, before we would then start a few overnights, when we go on holiday. Got a date arranged but it was then cancelled, due to the sitter having an accident. I was extremely courteous and understanding and after the sitter texted me, to see if I would like to arrange, once she was back on her feet, which I happily agreed to. However, I have now been completely ignored for weeks on end but Rover happily took my booking fee, and are now avoiding me too. I have emailed several times to request the money back which I paid for in good faith, so I can use a company that actually care about their customers. I NEVER GOT THE SERVICE WHICH I PAID FOR, this borders on being complete dishonest and indeed, fraudulent practices, when Rover states that ‘they are there to help’, really?, I’d say by not answering complaints and refunding, hard earned money for a service that they never fulfilled, is a complete and utter lie and fabrication. I will be asking my bank to intervene, and issue a recall notice. If I could have given no stars, I would have in a heartbeat.

The kennels were clean and the service provider was very nice. However, my dogs were returned to me in critical condition after their 5 day stay. They had bite wounds from other animals, chemical burns, infection, and allergic reaction to the level of anaphylaxis with one dog being rushed to the vet on an emergency and receiving epinephrine. The most likely cause for all of this was having dogs that have never met in an common run together and without supervision, and the chemicals used to clean the kennels, after repeated exposure causing the allergic reaction and chemical burns. Both dogs needed substantial veterinary care following their visit, including another rabies booster. Rover has also denied our claim for loss, and we are out almost $500 on vet bills, not to mention what my poor dogs went through. My dogs did not suffer from any medical conditions prior to their stay, and while I can understand that certain issues are excluded and could be considered pre-ex, they did not take all of the information into account that they were sent. Definitely would not recommend. Edit: this response seems on the up and up. However, not conducive of my experience. I realize the Rover guarantee is not insurance but rather in place, or allegedly in place to provide reimbursement for acts and omissions by their service providers. What my poor dogs went through was exactly that, had they not been in her negligent care they would not have suffered.

My daughter signed up to be a dog walker and paid for the security check and never heard back from them. Basically just took her money.

Upon arrival, Monday evening at approximately 6:30 pm I noticed that my dog was quivering and seemingly in a lot of pain due to his collar being broken and him choking as Elan C and her boyfriend, who was not listed on the app had his broken collar fixed around his neck with a prong going in to his neck. As a result, Beans also had a cut/puncture in his neck that was not there before due to the broken collar being placed on him in the manner it was. The collar was not broken when I dropped him off. The sitter notified me after I noticed he was shaking upon arrival and looking miserable. They claimed his collar got caught on his cage that day. This does not make sense to me because it should not have been on, or, if it was the prong should have not been facing inside out as that is a hazard. In addition, they claim to have just discovered this ten minutes before my arrival as they said that’s when they found him like that, as if he wasn’t being supervised.
