Their app is easy to use and I have used 3 pet sitters and they were all reliable.

Features such as reviews, approximate location of the sitter, and being able to send email are easy to use and well thought out. I don't like that just because a reservation includes 1 minor holiday day, the holiday price is charged for all of the days.

Service is/was great. Sunni was awesome and took great care of my furballs. My only disagreement is how they charge for holiday dates. Say you’d like to set up service from Sunday through Sunday and that last day (sunday) lands on what they consider a holiday date, they will charge $30 per day for the entire 7 days.

There was confusion with who confirmed to sit with my Cocoa. I was talking with Gina for days but the day before, I learned that I was booked with Magen. The system indicated that Gina declined but she said she didn't. I went with Magen because that's who the payment went to and Not Gina. It turned out that Magen was great; and, she sent pictures and updates throughout his stay. Cocoa was happy and played well with the other dog. I didn't know how that would go since he'd only been around his brother when he came to visit us. It appeared that I missed him more than he missed me! lol!

Rover makes it much easier to find Dog sitters that are close and rated good. Don't love the extra fee I have to pay, but it has been a good choice for my dog care while away. Thanks!

My Rover person cancelled three days before my trip. I panicked but was able to get another Rover caretaker the same day. There was some confusion booking, mostly on my part. All went well and straightened out by the time I left for my trip.
