I found a great dog sitter. The reviews and profiles were helpful. The tips for interviewing a new sitter were great. However the app needs to have a delete reservation feature and not just leave it on there as "unconfirmed". Also, it would be great to be able to download the videos from the app that the dog sitter shares with me. I can download pics but not videos.

I loved this app, except for the fact i could not go back and leave a tip at a different time from when i was asked. I was busy at that moment and i couldnt leave a tip later.

Recently started to use rover. I found the platform easy to use and quickly found care options. I appreciate that rover doesn’t make an up front charge to communicate with providers. One criticism is an inability to search for providers by name. I met aomeone in the neighborhood who got on well with my stranger nervous dog who was on rover and gave me his name. Unfortunately the platform doesn’t enable a search by name. Please add this!

First time I tried using Rover, nobody responded. This time I got a response in minutes and found a great pet sitter to stay with my dog in a hotel room (so he wouldn’t bark)—with only 2 days notice. Excellent.

Terrific service. Used twice and have nothing but positive to say about sitters I chose. However, sitters may wish to change their written profiles to include all animals they watch, as many personal descriptions do not match their checked size/type nor where they watch them. Many of you were skipped over for that reason.

This is our first time using Rover since the pandemic started. Our dog was a little anxious to be away from us however our first time sitter did a wonderful job in calming him down. Pictures every night and a description of his day went a long way to help me relax too. I will use this sitter and Rover again.

A few of the Rover profiles seemed out of date, for example sitters were no longer active or moved from the area, etc.
