In our recent experiences with the pet sitters we’ve had excellent luck. The sitters have been excellent and the reviews we’ve read have been helpful and accurate. The website seems somewhat difficult to navigate. We wanted to leave a tip for a recent sitter and had difficulty finding out how to do it; then discovered one must first give the review. Also, there should be an active link to current conversations with a sitter and to pending sitting arrangements where with one click you can find all of your current commitents.

Easy to use and find the help I needed. They have a good system, and allow you to meet people before you decide to hire them. I don't like the fact that they get paid when you book a sitter, even if the booking is not until September. I shouldn't be charged until service is rendered. What happens if something changes before September, and I have already been charged? But the sitter I have used was great.

I put out request to four pet sitters. I received immediate replies from 3. I chose Victoria, she was responsible and good with my elderly dog, Lucky.

This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving my dog with a stranger. Lauren made us feel very comfortable with the experience and having a meet and greet prior helped, very glad that is encouraged in the app. The one thing I wish the app could do is allow me to send pictures to the pet sitter. We had to revert to our personal phone numbers in order to get her information on commands that my dog knows. Otherwise a terrific experience and will use again!

There are no directions that I can find to delete pending sitters that did not work out due to scheduling conflicts I would like to clear my Rover inbox and there no directions to do so. Other than that, Rover is wonderful and has helped us find very dependable dog sitters for our fur babies from the road!

Rover is very helpful in connecting people with pet care on short notice and both caretakers that I've connected with have been great to work with. The app has some limitations making the transaction piece kind of challenging. The services are set with no ability to customize. For instance, we communicated about my dog's specific needs and agreed upon a fee that was different from any of their set prices in the app. It would be easier if the request process could go both ways and each transaction could be customized if necessary. Also, it doesn't allow the requested services to be edited, so a new request needs to be created if changes need to be made.

I’m very happy with your service, but the cell phone app has some glitches. Cancelling an appointment does not work like the instructions say. Rather frustrating as a new user, calling the provider was much easier! They need to fix the schedule for you. Otherwise, a good service, we will use Rover again!

Ashley is a real gem, and I would definitely give her 5 stars. She won over my shy cat who gets skittish around strangers if I am not there. It is clear that she is a person who loves cats. I look forward to having her care for my cats again. The only reason I didn't give Rover 5 stars is because I still find the user interface a little bit confusing.
