My dog has been with different sitters and boarders for months now on rover. And this one lady deana b of maitland florida she's a sitter. She lied on my dog to protect her regular dog and now has gotten my dog band from rover. He's 9 years old and has never had any confrontations with any humans or animals. She's a fraud and I advice anyone to avoid her at all cost and rover if u can help it! They didn't even do the research to find out if she was lying or not. They just figured cause he's a pitbull to put it off on him as the aggressor! I hate I gave them as much money as I have! Really disappointed in these guys!

Rover withdrew money from my account when I cancelled the service and the sitter did not activate it.

My little 5 lb dog was with a sitter and he died because he jumped off their bed! He hit his head, bled out his ear and died! Would you leave a 5 pound baby on a bed by themself, I don’t think so! I’m writing it again. One hour with Rover and he’s dead. I’m so sad and heartbroken.

Our sitter didn't follow the instructions that I printed out. He left my house a mess, not even bothering to pick up after himself. I cleaned house before I left town and cleaned for over 2 hours when I returned back home. I have cameras in my home due to when my mom was alive and I needed to check in periodically with her to make sure she didn't fall and that she was ok. Kept the cameras in place so I can see my animals when I'm gone. He told me he "Didn't like being on camera" Too bad. It's my house and to me if you don't want to be on camera its because you are doing something you shouldn't. For instance, his first morning there, he came, let my dog out of the bedroom then slept on the couch for over 3 hours leaving the dog unsupervised out of my room and able to wander around the house, which he isn't allowed to do. Won't use ROVER again and am encouraging those I know not to use them either.

My puppy was put in danger by the pet sitter leaving her house to get drunk. She admitted this when questioned. Was left with 2 other dogs... Returned after 6 hours to pick up our pup and the sitter was crying, unable to complete full sentences, slurred speech, smelled of alcohol. Home had a bad oder and was dirty.NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!! Don't know how she had a 5 star rating.Did not see my review on their website! Don't know why..... . .

I had a horrible experience with the person that watched my dog and when I called and complained and had issues now they are giving me problems getting my money returned

Our house sitter did not house sit. She was booked for 9 nights to stay with our pet. She was very deceptive for the 9 days regarding the care our pet received. Being left alone for long periods of time caused separation anxiety for our pet who’s still showing severe signs of stress when we leave for work.

Our dog walker was booked and paid for 6 days. He didn't want to meet our dog prior to the walking. Our dog is a 10 lb toy poodle, very friendly, but never met a stranger coming in our house and was really scared of him. He agreed to meet with my son the next day to meet and get to know my dog. We were on vacation, and out of the country. He never showed up for the meet, never returned emails, and never showed up for any of the walks. My dog was left alone all day from 5:00 am when my son went to work until 5:30 PM when he came home. We needed someone to walk him in the middle of the day as he is used to me being home all the time as I work from home. It was a terrible experience, and I would have given 0 stars if possible.
