Rover was a great service. We had lost our prior dog sitter and needed care for a vacation we had scheduled. The site was easy to use had a large choice of caregivers to chose from. Each of those we contacted were professional. We connected with Peggy had a meet & greet that went very well and we used her for 6 days while away. She sent photos and videos every day and really took good care of our dog. The fees Rover charges seem a little high in addition to the daily cost of care but the peace of mind was worth it.

My dog walker was excellent! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars has to do with the app—it was confusing to me how to confirm my schedule, so I mistakenly paid a second time after changing drop in times. Chase recognized what I’d done and took care of the reversal/credit.

It should be easier to tip caretakers. They ask you if you want to tip but then try to make you go through a lengthy survey to get to that screen. That was my experience with boarding. Not sure if its the same for walking, etc.

Good website although times/dates a bit confusing to enter info

Rover is a nice option for pet care. I found a great sitter for my dog, and it was easy to book. It is a little difficult to find the itineraries for upcoming bookings - I can usually get there eventually, but it takes a few tries.

I met with two young women and agreed to a sit...but when I called to confirm, one said she was sorry that she was moving and the other ghosted me. I had to scurry to find replacements, not through Rover, as my trips were out of the country. I decided to try again or a short trip and found Kieran, who turned out to be a gem...quite the opposite from the women who ghosted me. He followed up and was punctual and went the extra mile...I paid him double, he was that good. I now will not use college students since they have been unreliable, but will use the Rover app for older sitters. Wish there was a way to vet them somehow.

The dog sitter, Vikki, contacted us quickly to set up a meet and great date. We had a great meeting. We were able to book our dates with Vikki. The drop off of our dog went smoothly. Vikki kepts us updated on how our dog was doing and took great care of her.

Eileen was awesome. We found out AFTER she had left that we couldnt tip her what we wanted due to a limitation on the app. 30% max. Please fix that limitation issue and the app will be perfect. She was phenominal thanks.
