Don’t leave your beloved family members with Rover pet sitters. This company has had several dogs die whilst under the care of roverdotcom pet sitters. This past week, several dogs died after the sitter kept them in an unconditioned 99F backyard shed & they perished from heat stroke… The sitter was very highly rated (900+ 5 star reviews). The pawrents did not know that their beloved would be kept this way; believing that they were kept inside, with air conditioning… Their PR/marketing team has not released an official statement of apology or taken ownership or accountability which helped end these dogs lives… They are instead posting “tips to keep your dog cool”, which is completely insensitive to the parents of the innocent living beings that lost their lives…

Our dog stayed with a Rover sitter and it was a terrible experience. When we picked her up, she was extremely lethargic. Once home, we found diarrhea and blood all over the house. The sitter insisted our dog was fine, but she lost half a pound during her stay. The sitter acted suspiciously, washing our dog’s bed and toilet mat just before we arrived. Rover denied our request for compensation despite us providing detailed evidence. This situation has been very frustrating. I advise caution when selecting a sitter through Rover.

I had a terrible experience with a Rover sitter. When I picked up my dog, she was very low on energy. When we got home, I found diarrhea and blood around the house. The sitter claimed my dog was fine, but she even lost half a pound during her stay. The sitter’s behavior was suspicious, including washing my dog's bed and toilet mat right before I arrived. Rover denied our request for compensation despite providing detailed information and documents. This experience has been very frustrating. Be cautious when choosing a sitter through Rover.

I give Rover zero stars for deactivating my account for providing services to a client who was not able to log into their website to book the service. Yes, instead of turning down the client, I served the client. The client offered to write to Rover to clarify this situation, but Rover did not respond to my email. So, Rover is not there to serve their clients, but they are there to take your money, for not even doing much, just sit there and calculating their interest.

I cancelled my order on June 4, 2024 and received a confirmation email that it had been cancelled. Now I have been billed for a delivery that is being delivered to somewhere I'm not living and cannot return it.

Rover petsitter was seen out in public at the same restaurant I was eating at shortly after I dropped my puppy off when she was supposed to be in her residence caring for my puppy.

Contacted 2 sitters for my dog for an upcoming holiday and neither of them had the manners to reply
