Rover.com Online. I did not have the app on my phone. The online version was pretty useless for messages and updates. Sometimes they would be there. Other times nothing.

Rover is an app easy to use to find a pet sitter. However, it is difficult to find past communications with an specific pet sitter once the stay has finished.

Great service, great sitters. App could be easier to navigate and search. It would be nice to save multiple sitters for when one is unavailable. It's just a bit off with what you can and can't do.

The caregiver was amazing. We gave her a 5 star review. Rover it's self not so much. Their score would have been lower if it hadn't been for the incredible caregiver. Her posted rates were $25/day, Rover charged us $28/day. Plus fees, and also took fees out of the payment that went to the caregiver. I believe it's wrong to charge on both ends, and unfair to charge $3/day more than the caregiver asked for.

The site was easy to use, the profiles were useful and communication was easy. No complaints!

We ended up with a great sitter but it did take a while to get there. I found many people in their profiles said they were able to do housesitting with pet sitting but then had dogs of their own, children or worked full time and LONG hours. If there was a way for sitters to not check that they are available for every type of sitting while they are obviously not available that would be helpful. I also found that there were several sitters who said they work part time and then during conversations with them found out that they work full time. During our search for house sitters/ dog sitters many people came up as available for the time I requested and then in their profile said they were only available on weekends???? Overall we had a great experience with our sitter that we found and we will be booking again with her but it did take a while to weed through all the profiles!
