I had no where to turn to find someone to watch my dogs over a recent weekend. Someone suggested Rover and I was immediately skeptical - “I won’t know anything about these sitters. And they are coming to my house. To care for my most precious possession.” But I started to read the “instructions” and realized there was a “vetting process” that allowed you to meet and interview the dog sitter. That and reviews made me feel much better about trying Rover. It is a clear process and that made me feel more confident about trying Rover.

A good experience. First time User. Easy to find and communicate to the sitter within the app. The only little hiccup was finding the information to contact the support team to resolve a trip modification issue.

The sitter Savanna was excellent!! My fur babies were well taken care of and loved. The Grover company if I’m told accurately takes 25% of the sitter’s fee. I feel this is excessive!

Ease of website and choice of several sitters

The concept of Rover is great as is the access to great sitters for our pets. It makes it very easy to find someone, even on very short notice. I don’t like that orders are very difficult to alter after they’re made. It’s impossible to go in and look at it. That needs to be made accessible after the fact.

Justin at Rover was great. He listened to my complaint and did what I asked him to do. The sitter that I had was terrible. She didn’t feed Zoey correctly, didn’t give her her treats, kept her in her crate for way too long, etc and she AND her boyfriend ate a lot of food from my freezer and drank what little alcoholic beverages there were in the house.

Took awhile to figure out how to write profile for dog, how to communicate with sitter and times I needed sitter. Once I did site was easy to use.
