I paid for 6 half hour pet visits for my two dogs. The girl came for 12 minutes on each visit, and she skipped a visit leaving my dogs without food for 22 hours. Rover was completely unaccountable and didn’t care that this girl was abusive to my dogs.

Adhésion excessivement chère, tout comme les prestations. Impossibilité d'échanges en direct avec la personne qui va garder votre animal. Tout se fait par messagerie interne au site. Donc on ne peut pas avoir un contact direct. Remboursement partiel suite annulation. Je ne recommande absolument pas.

A very unsatisfactory pet sit! Vague messages that all was well but the only actual photo I received was of a very unhappy dog in a busy loud pub. Rio does not enjoy busy crowded places which was quite apparent by his demeanour. A packet of paracetamol was lying on the rug when I returned, clearly fallen from the shelf but not picked up. If Rio had chewed and eaten these I dread to think of the outcome. Poo has not been picked up in the garden, I only hope that this was not the case on any walks that may have taken place. The cat's biscuit bowl was empty and they had barely any water in their bowl. Bathroom left in an unpleasant state, dirt tracked into the spare bedroom. I would advise that you do not entrust your pets to Matt K.

Sitter didn't show up for a prepaid appointment, left dogs alone in the house, no food, no water, no way to get outside to relieve themselves for 22 hours! She didn't deny it either but Rover.com made me jump through hoops to contact a pet sitter I never wanted to speak to again in order to get a refund. Don't hire "Kayla" from Greenwood, SC through Rover.com! Follow up: Rover's Trust and Safety team did nothing to help solve the problem. "Kayla" defended the missed appointment, refused the refund I had requested and continued to text me multiple times. My husband's negative review for the sitter disappeared from Rover.com and she is once again listed as the No. 1 sitter in our area. Don't use this company, they are very dishonest!

DO NOT USE!!! This app is only interested in making money (commission from bookings). Dog sitters are not asked to prove they have a licence from their local council to operate - this is legally required under the Animal Welfare (Licensing Of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 which states "providing for or arranging for the provision of boarding for cats or dogs……must be licensed with their local authority”. You can check with your council - all the ones on this app in my area do not have a licence which also makes any insurance void. Why would you trust these people with your precious pet?!!!

I was surprised to find that the majority, in fact all my local home boarders, were not legally registered with the local council, making them illegal. Shame really

Pendant nos vacance ma sœur et laisser via l’app a une Dogsitteuse. Il a été tuer deux jours avant le retour. Il a été battu trauma crânien. Elle a été appelé qu’une fois que c’était trop tard quand il faller accepté qu’il était chez le veto mort. 2h pour apeller et la Dogsitteuse sans expérience nous a menti . Son copain a battu le chien. L’appli compense avec le prix moyen de la race comme si c’était un objet qu’on va replacer ! Honteux de ne pas vérifier si les gens sont apte à garder le chien 😞 A FUIR !

I only put a star because I couldn't post this comment without rating.I highly recommend you do not apply at rover because of the application fee.the jobs barely pay much and yet the want you to spend 50 dollars on a application for a job the your not even sure you'll get.Really a waste of time to go through the whole application just to get a fee if you want to submit it.They should tell you from the beginning that there's and application fee instead of making someone go through the whole application first.
