Was easy to book and found a dog sitter through rover site as close to my home.

Finding a sitter was easy and helpful through Rover BUT they screw you with their "additional fees" that tack on an extra 4 to 5 dollars to your booking fee. Rover explains these fees poorly, so you assume it goes to the top man's pocket. Not great for someone like myself who wants good care for their dog but has to pay extra.. also the money does not even go to the sitter!

Finding a sitter was easy. Viewing reviews was very helpful. My only suggestion would be to make it easier to see the booking cost for the number of pets/day without having to look at a different section.

Rover has been the service I use to care for my dogs when I am out of town. They have a variety of dog sitters available. some with many years of experience to others who are freshly new to the experience. The only drawback with choosing an unknown sitter- is what happens if your dog gets sick, or develops eye or ear infections. most sitters don't know what to do. Choose your sitter wisely. discuss the possibility of your pet becoming sick, and what to do if that happens. That is why I give Rover a 4-star rating, because these things are not part of the system.

Ease of communication. Site is easy to use. My rover experience was great. I would have liked to have known about all the added fees in advance.

Our sitter seemed kind over the phone and sent pictures to us during our 3 day trip! However there were a few things that could've been addressed with a little more attention to detail. Other than that, we are happy to came back to our puppy and find a decent last minute sitter.

Great service great communications picked up after the Doggies.
