Five-star transaction for our little guy. The sitter was fantastic - took time at the meet-n-greet and ensured she spent time to understand Hershey's needs, likes/dislikes, preferences etc.. Over the course of the stay, she took *excellent* care of him; her love was quite obvious. Sent lots of pictures & videos. Pickup/Dropoff was great. Will definitely contact again if needed. (rest of the review, and four-star-rating is for Rover in general) Overall, Great choice of sitters. All background-checked, so can rest assured it will be smooth. Payment transactions are good; cancellation policy is usually quite obvious. One thing which needs to be fixed is the ability for Clients to cancel if needed. Currently, several "probable" transactions still show up - sitters cannot see it, and we as clients cannot cancel it. Gets really cluttered, and confusing.

Only negative thing is no live people to assist potential customers.

Rover is a great service. I highly recommend personal care over dog hotels. I also recommend you confirm your care by clicking on the approve button when the caretaker agrees to watch your pet. That step wasn’t clear to me and I was almost without care. I docked a star because I had originally connected with another caretaker through Rover who agreed to watch Copper via the Rover messaging function and I thought that was all I needed to book. Unfortunately, the caretaker also didn’t understand the booking steps either because they have to initiate the booking. A few days before our trip, I messaged to confirm. The caretaker mentioned they ended their account in Rover which left us without care. Luckily, we found the dog whisperer couple through Rover and learned how to successfully book care.

I wish the videos were sent through the text messages like pictures are. As soon as the visit was completed, the whole message thread is gone including any videos sent. There were some cute ones of my cat that I would have loved to keep for memories.

Funciona bien, contactas con cuidadores y pagas a través de la app. Aporta seguridad ya que se hacen responsables ante el cuidador y ante el cliente por lo que pueda pasar. La app es fácil de usar y el chat funciona correctamente.

We loved the ease of use and our Rover! We had one issue with leaving a review and tip but other than that everything was great.
