Not good. First time using the service and I encountered a person who was utterly lacking in confidence. It’s easy for anyone to register as a Rover dog walker. They can then import in positive reviews. I am not comfortable using this service. I am worried about inadequate people with zero resilience and no skill in dog walking looking after my pooch. There’s just no quality control. Hard pass.

AVOID AVOID!!!! I signed up to offer services for dog walking sitting ect. They deactivated my account without telling me no email nothing!!! Just a money grabbing company that takes half the money you earn and Money off of clients. Stay away! Especially with offering daycare and boarding when you have to have licensing!! This is against the law! I don’t understand how this business is still running when it’s illegal! Also had multiple people book then cancel last minute so lost out on money multiple times. Their customer service is SHITEEE on hold for ages and can’t answer a simple question as to why I’ve been deactivated without being told. Hate this company. Stay far away from these scammers.

Rover has become a capitalistic money grab company. I think charging holiday rates is crazy. Youre charging extra for silly holidays that dont matter,which is ridiculous. Rover has become a money grab. Its no longer about animals, but extracting as much money as you can. Tips seem like they are being pushed so much, I miss the days where people charged what they wanted and didnt expect tips. Holiday rates, tipping, high fees has made me move away from using Rover. Ive started just using word of mouth, facebook & Nextdoor app to find dog sitters & walkers with no fees or tips expected.

Had a bad experience with this company. They choose money over morals and don't care about people's pets and add on additional fees for nothing.

Got repeated incorrect messages from rover.com Verifying appointment multiple times didnt seem to change incorrect messages Really annoying!!

Bonjour Je suis voisin d'un pet sitter amateur , mais il en fait tout un business et même son métier au détriment de ses voisins qui doivent supporter les aboiement en permanence. Sur son annonce il annonce qu'il en garde 2 la journée et 3 en pension ! Mais dans tout ca, il en a 12 en pension pendant les vacances , les enferme dans une véranda le soir et pendant les journée chaude d'été dans un 7 mètres carré. Il s'absente souvent et les laisse à son fils de 7 ans à garder , et de temps en temps des chiens arrivent a s'échapper par le grillage et agressent les passants en ballade avec leurs chien, mêmes pas il s'en aperçoit tellement il s'en fou . Je ne comprends pas que rover ne contrôle pas ce genre de pratique et ne leurs demandes pas un diplôme pour les personnes qui en font leurs métier. Il y a des pet sitter raisonnable et certains qui courent après l'argent . Il y a des clients qui mettent 5 étoiles mais ils ne savent pas tout . La confiance aveuglé par les prix bas en plus du bien-être sois disant qu'ont leurs promet. Je ne comprend pas qu'on puisse pratiquer ce genre de garde illimitée sans que rover leurs demande des compte au vu du nombres de chiens dans une maison au milieu d'autres maisons . Peut-être qu'il ne les déclare pas , vu que se sont des clients habitués. Bien sur travail dissimuler , égal sans garantie et assurance. En plus son nom de l'annonce sur rover n'est même pas son vrai nom.

I'm trying to create an account again after taking a break from dog sitting for a while. Keeps coming up with an error message saying "we've encountered a problem, try again later". I've tried this both on desktop and app and the same thing happens. You can't even contact support because you need to log in. HOW I'M I SUPPOSED TO DO THIS IF I CANT LOG IN

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience using this Rover sitter Hang.Q. My dog suffered an allergic reaction and chemical burns after being cared for, which led to over $500 in vet bills. To make matters worse, I later discovered that another dog had experienced a similar issue with this sitter. It’s clear that this sitter is using chemicals or wipes on dogs that owners have not approved of, which is both irresponsible and dangerous. While I am thankful to Rover for reimbursing me part of the medical expenses, this does not take away the trauma my dog endured. The time, effort, and emotional toll I experienced caring for her during her recovery was immense. Furthermore, my dog's tail will never be the same, and that is something I will always have to remember. I strongly believe this sitter’s account should be paused and fully investigated. No pet owner should have to go through what I did, and I hope Rover takes this matter seriously to ensure other dogs aren’t put at risk.
