The service was super easy to use. I was able to find a sitter to accommodate our very specific, and not necessarily easy, situation. I like that I could leave specific instructions on my pets profile. The sitter was awesome- sent pics, great communication. We were very confident our pet was well taken care of. I would’ve given Rover five stars but for the large service fee they charge in addition to the 20% they take from the sitters and then hit you up for tips as well.

Overall I feel I do not like the fact that if you want to book 2 to 3 months in advance they charge you immediately. That is a lot of money to take that early. Also, don’t like being charged extra fees for holiday bookings. People travel during the holidays, we should not be penalized for that.

We LOVED our petsitter. We were a little caught off guard by the change in prices/fees after booking, but that has absolutely nothing to do with her. We'd request her again in a heartbeat. App/Service was fine, no complaints, just not wholly transparent with pricing.

Great to connect with local pet sitters. My pet sitter did a great job connecting with my shy cat: She sent photos daily showing my cat and over time, showing the cat coming to her for attention and cuddles! Rover is a good service but the app is a little opaque and the add on fees were not transparent.

Great experiences. Support was a bit slow and required several back and forth otherwise fully recommended.

My cousin said that Rover is a safe and trusted company which services are excellent and immediate response and should before notice to people increase price .

Easy to understand the listings of pet sitters and find them on the map.
