Great coop! Needed to add my own wire bottom to keep out rats as they actually tried to break in the first day! Processing and delivery is very slow but the product is fantastic and I would buy again. I have bragged to all my friends about my coop and have gorgeous pictures!!!!

The coop is great. The automatic feeder is terrible and I already replaced it. It was clogging constantly. Waterer is nice but it would be great if you included instructions on cleaning or had a reference online about it. Instead, I had to email back and forth to find out out how you recommend to clean it.

Really like the coop and the install wasn't too bad. You'll definitely need 2 people. My only dislike with our model is how the run is directly under their roost area so poop build up is a real issue. We let ours free range most days so it's not a big deal but if you think you'll be keeping them cooped up most days I would suggest getting a different model or buying the run extender.

My chicks are wonderfully safe so far. No signs of predator attempted permeation. I would have awarded 5 stars if the extra runway had its own door and if the coop itself has one more access point. To clean the middle of the coop when it is attached to the runway, as constructed requires you to disconnect the two pieces. For me it’s a 2 person job. For this reason it is super hard to clean and your best option becomes just lifting and moving the coop around. Now I have lots of dead lawn! On a positive notes, the coop is super cute and well constructed. I had the whole thing delivered constructed, which was fabulous! Would buy another coop from this company for sure!

The backyard coop mostly went together easily. It's a good starter coop for 6 chickens. 10 may be a tight fit. There are quite a few improvements I'd like to see. Ex: A clean out door on both ends of the run, walk in option for run addition, and a larger roosting area for more birds are on the top of the list.

Nice product. Easy to assemble. Great instructions. Had some issues with the magnets on the winterization kit and one of the panels blowing away in a 40 mph wind. Overall I am satisfied with the product.

First, let me say that we love this coop and the chickens love this coop. I'd buy this again and have 0 regrets about the purchase. I enjoyed working with the Urban team and appreciated their customer service. What we like: It's extremely well built using quality materials. It's extremely sturdy and will last for years. The layout is also nice, well thought out, and it's easy to maintain and clean. The chickens love it. Cleaning is very simple and the feeders are big enough to last a long weekend away. What you should know: We chose the at home assembly and the directions leave a lot to be desired. It took two adults, 10 beers, and about 4 full hours to build. You will be frustrated, you will build and unbuild and rebuild, be patient. It's also not squirrel proof. The feeder is made of PVC and is exposed to the general outdoors. It only took the squirrels a few hours to chew through the PVC and have themselves a feast. Quick fix - A trip to Lowes, some locking hooks and some chicken wire around it solved the issue (for now). The roost is above the ramp, so you get a lot of chicken poop on it and it has to be continually cleaned. There is also no design to support a heating lamp. There is no additional barrier between the chicken wire in the run and the outdoors, so you'll need to be extra careful when weed wacking around it. One false move and you're through the wire. All in all, great coop!

I love the coop and my chickens do, too! I'm holding back one star only because it was more difficult to assemble than advertised. It took about twice as much time to assemble and make chicken-ready (and I had a couple of guys helping). It was also missing pre-drilled holes which wasn't a big deal the further I went on in assembly but it was a HUGE deal when the first panels to be joined were missing pilot holes. It really threw me. Quality control should have caught that. But all the parts were there and it finally came together really nicely.
