Great quality coop and wonderful customer service! I love my coop! Worth every penny.

Delivery was quick and fairly painless despite a long narrow driveway. Just loaded the pallets at the road onto my 18 ft trailer. A couple pieces had minor damage, but nothing that couldn't be fixed easily with a screw or some glue. No missing parts. Very satisfied with how protected and secure the pieces were packed. For this being a new product, the instructions were very detailed and accurate. We had trouble following in a couple spots, but it was more from us moving too fast than the instructions not making sense. Biggest complaint is printed instructions included were two sided and the front and back were flipped so had to keep turning the booklet around or go loose leaf. One of the joists was slightly warped and the stapled joints for an A1 side wall panel and 2 of the doors needed extra reinforcing. Overall, strong, beautiful and solid, though. We had some unforeseen circumstances that delayed the build, so it has only been up for a few days. Not counting the pad prep, it took 3 people 12 hours to build from unpacking, staging pieces (highly recommend), leveling, construction, to final clean up. Everyone that sees it is blown away by the size, attention to detail, and quality. One person even suggested I should rent it out on AirBnB.

This is such a beautiful and thoughtful coop and we know we will have it for many, many years. The packaging, tools and instructions were so well organized and helpful to make assembly a breeze. We (and the chickens) are thoroughly enjoying it in our backyard. What a quality product!

From order to delivery. First class all the way. While on the higher end of my budget, I believe you get what you pay for. The coop showed up on time, BIG boxes and detailed instructions. You will need a second hand to put it together, but I am happy, the birds are happy, and most importantly, the wife is happy! 😀

I made a mistake when ordering my coop. I called and the mistake was very simply resolved. The coop arrived as expected, there where a couple of non-essential pieces missing. I called and the pieces were shipped with no hassle. I do have a suggestion. We stained our coop, and it is beautiful. However, it was a lot of work and not real easy. It would be great if there was an option to have it stained during production. I would gladly have paid extra.

I purchased my first coop from R&R more than 10 years ago and ordered a larger model this spring after we decided to expand our flock size. Our original coop has only gotten more beautiful with age. It’s just as sturdy and safe as it was over a decade ago. Our new coop, the Walk-in Roundtop, is every bit as high-quality. The western red cedar looks beautiful new, and ages with a patina that enhances our yard and makes a stunning focal point. I appreciate the open roosting area that allows masses to fall to the ground for easy cleaning. The nesting boxes are generously spacious and make gathering eggs super simple. One feature the new coop has that our old one did not are the wind/weather protection panels. We live in a very windy area and I plan on leaving the panels on most of the year. Roost and Root coops are the very best! I have also experienced great communication and customer service from the team. Our order arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Assembling the coop took about a day and felt like putting together a giant Lego set. The kids loved helping!
