Thank you for the review and for your business! Kevin showed us the picture you sent along and I can assure you that was a result of shipping damage, not something we decided was acceptable to ship. We use UPS to bring our products from the shop to your door because we believe they are the best in the business. That being said, we do deal with shipping damage and always warranty replacement parts free of charge when what happens. We have made a note in your order to the make sure we warranty the damaged A5 due to shipping. If at any point your glue and staples fail, please reach out to us. Enjoy your chicken and your coop!

Thank you for the review, Kimberley. I think your order got caught in the holiday shipping craze. I see that you order came in on November 26, which was the day we closed for Thanksgiving break. I show it shipped on the December 4th, which was the Wednesday after we returned from Thanksgiving, but the order did not arrive to you until December 17th. That is in no way a typical shipping timeline for our products. UPS is usually prompt with the deliveries, I can only assume there was some back up from the holiday season rush. Apologies for the delay, but I can assure you we got it through our shop as soon as we could. We use the same pricing model for all of our coops! The Walk-In models only have a higher price tag because they have that much more cedar, 16 gauge galvanized wire, galvalume metal, and stainless steel hardware! Plus all the additional work the amazing people in our shop do for those coops. We appreciate your business. Hope you are able to install your new extension soon!

Thanks for leaving us a review and sharing your thoughts. You are correct that the planter box is not designed to add soil directly into for planting, which was why we only include a HDPE liner for the bottom of the planter and not the back side. The inset opening in the panel where the HDPE liner is to lay down is 4 1/4" x 31 1/2". The space was designed with the typical 4" plastic nursery pot in mind. I don't mean to minimize your frustration but I promise we did test all of these features during our prototyping period. Maybe there is something we can do for you to help with this particular issue. We don't recommend installing an automatic door on the removable panel that has the turnout door. It will prevent you from taking advantage of one of the best design features of the coop. If you install an automatic door there, and force the removable panel to be stationary, it will make cleaning your coop much more difficult. If the automatic door is still something you would prefer, we always recommend buying from www.chickendoors.com. They are an American made product and their doors swing left and right, not up and down. If there is anything we can do to help, please reach out to us on the support line (877-741-2667). We have every model from our line of chicken coops in use in our display area. We test all of our designs with birds for months before anything goes to market. We pride ourselves on not just building a high quality product, but also being chicken keeping experts. Thank you for the review, Kevin. Apologies for the split board. Our parts are victim to shipping damage from time to time. In those cases we replace free of charge through our warranty. Do you remember which panels you had trouble identifying and which information you felt was missing? Would you be available for phone conversation to get a bit more details? We'd like to do everything we can on our end to clear up any confusion for future customers. Your Backyard Model 2 coop is our newest model, so any insight to improving instructions would be helpful. Thank you for the review! We are glad that you're happy with your coop. Please give us a call on our support line (877-741-2667) and we might have some helpful advice about your feeder. Depending on the age of your birds and the type of food you're using, there may be some changes we can recommend. We have done endless prototyping on our feeder and tested a number of other very popular feeders in the marketplace. We recognize that feeder does spill, but we feel very good about our feeder compared to other options. Thank you for your business and enjoy your coop this winter!
