Not the quality I was expecting. Wood looked old and like it was the first or second cutting - rough and splintered. Drill holes didn't line up and were very rough ( had to re drill). Hardware did not match. Had to get a grinder out and modify. I would not purchase again nor would I reccomend the product. The instructions were a waste of paper. The cohesiveness of them became blurrd by the end with some sections overly explained and other sections lacking serious direction. Looking at cost of materials and comparing it to the "value"; it's a loss in my opnion. Maybe had you ran a sander over it to minimize splinters or drilled the holes correctly... At the end of the day if I were to do it again - I'd only pay $500ish for your product. It looks cheaply made and not the same sparkle as the pics online. Yeah, not the best purchase of the year and wish I had taken the $1000+ to make something myself.

Cute coop, easy to put together. However not at all predator proof, we will have to do quite a bit of modifying before we would feel safe putting anyone in overnight. I guess for someone living in a city with backyard chickens it might be ok as is, but even still a dog could dig under it in about 5 minutes (it has no bottom) A large dog or other predator (coyote, bear) could push it over easily and since it has no bottom to speak of it leaves birds unprotected from this as well. Well made and looks great, just not practical out in the country.

Loved my first starter coop but very disappointed with the tractor model. Don’t even use it. Too small and if you need to catch a chicken in day forget it. I don’t know why you stopped making the starter coop

Coops need a floor. Our coop was working great until after winter when it flooded with melting snow and heavy rains. We had to take it apart and move it to another location which was very difficult. A modified shed would’ve been a better use of 5k.

We recently purchased the backyard coop with one extension run. The wood and hardware components are very good quality. Installation instructions were just fine. Not happy with two things: The ramp leading up into to coop is poorly designed. Whether open or closed it's right below the roost bars - lots of poop and impossible to clean. Our chickens are only about 3.5 months old- they cannot figure out the water dispensers/nipples at all - we've tried all kinds of tricks to help them. Also the feeder tubes don't work well...We fill them and an hour later the food is falling out all over the ground. Not sure why. We had to buy alternative water bucket and feed trays.
