This review is specifically for the Steam Journey puzzle. The station, track and passenger car went together fairly well. Only broke two parts during the assembly of those pieces, which I was able to repair with glue. The locomotive was the real challenge. First, the double-sided tape provided was useless at holding parts in place. Then, the tabs to hold the chassis to the locomotive base didn't align, so they needed some serious sanding to get them to fit. The final straw was trying to pin a side rod into place. The pin didn't align with the hole on the locomotive. During the struggle to get the pin in, the locomotive slipped and fell onto the floor. This broke several locomotive pieces beyond repair. The puzzle parts seemed really fragile. Perhaps I just had a defective kit? After this experience, I definitely wouldn't recommend purchasing anything from this outfit. C'est extrêmement difficile car les pièces sont éparpillées dans des sacs différents. Le papier qui doit être collé est fragile. Il faut être très très patient et surtout très minutieux. Les explications bien que nombreuses ne sont pas claires. Les lego ont des explications plus claires. Les petits papiers devraient être autocollants car c'est minuscule et parfois avec la colle.. c'est pas parfait. Si vous vous lancez sachez que c'est de l'ordre d'une maquette complexe

I am upset - after spending 25+ hrs on assembly of the garden, some items started to tilt and fall off due to the poor adhesive solution. Also, the light doesn’t work. Would have expected better quality just for it last minute to start falling apart. It’s a feeling like you’re 5 and someone kicks your sand castle 😂 it would have been a really fun experience otherwise.

I have bought several book nooks over the years and I love the miniatures. I have recently bought “tipsy restaurant”, but I am very disappointed that you seem to have replaced the self-adhesive glossy stickers with matte paper cuttings that you have to attach using provided double sided tape. It looks less beautiful and it is a pain to attach, especially with the little pieces. You really need glue instead of double sided tape, but the endresult is amateurish. For me it is a reason not to buy miniatures from Rolife anymore.

The instructions did not make it clear there was a protective film on the outside of the greenhouse cover for Cathy's flower shop which needed to be removed. Hence my model is not clear perspex but opaque.

Late delivery. Ordering on Rolife was a mistake, I should have ordered with Amazon. The item arrived finally but it was sent directly from China and arrived after Christmas (27th) though ordered on 11th December and expected within 5-10 open days delivery. Item itself is the tipsy restaurant as ordered, and looks nice.

This kit is just ok. The finished product (flower shop) looks very cluttered but somewhat cute. If it was a real flower shop a person would not be able to walk around in it. There were errors in the directions that I could figure out but were annoying. In 3 places, it said cut when it meant glue. In other places the wrong word made a difference as to what piece was used. There was a few places where it says cut 2 in words but the pictures shows x3. One cabinet was a separate instruction book and had words wrong and required a piece that wasn’t even included in the kit. It said to glue it but it isn’t listed in the material list. The paint was not very good. And I don’t like the part where you had to water it down. What am I suppose to water down a tiny amount in? I ended up using my own better quality acrylic paint in some cases. When assembling at the end, the order needs to be changed. Also, trying to glue cut wire pieces to the sides of wire was so frustrating that I just threw away 2 stools because I could not get the glue to stay. When I picked them up the morning after glueing them the night before for the third time and then falling apart, I just threw them out and bought wood pieces from Hobby Lobby to craft my own. The leaves would not stayed glued to the slick wire. I threw some of those away and crafted my own with leftover supplies from a different brand kit. Even as I was putting it all together, the leaves were falling off the wires. I had tried the glue from the kit and 3 other different glues that I own and none worked. A better method would be to have 2 leaves and have them glued together with the wire inside. This kit can be assembled to be a flower shop but was frustrating to do so.
